Wonderful! The video playing on the screen is absolutely beautiful. You'll have to tell us about the concert Karsa.

You do realise that once I start I won't stop, don't you?:blush2:

I'll try to keep it brief :giggle2: : we had fantastic seats, just off Ged's side about 20 feet from the stage, awesome view all round. The atmosphere was unbelievable - I've never experienced an atmosphere like that at a Rush show before, even in their home town, Toronto. Well done Chicago! The set list was really different, and I mean really different. They play for 3 hours every show, split into two sets. The first set was all stuff from their 80s albums, most of which they haven't played in years, some of which I'd never seen them play live before, so that was brilliant. Second set was all about Clockwork Angels, and they brought on the string ensemble, who were fantastic. They've never used guest musicians before, so I had no idea what it would be like, but they really brought something extra to it. Plus, they looked like they were really into the music. When they first appeared they were just sitting down and I thought that's the way they'd stay, but then when the music kicked in on 'Caravan' they all jumped to their feet and started rocking, it was so funny. I haven't been able to find a video of it from Chicago, but

is from the first night of the tour. They had obviously had more practise by the time I saw them

Anyway, after that they went back and did some early stuff and finished with Tom Sawyer and 2112, the videos on the screen were fantastic, very colourful, and they did some stuff with screens that moved around that was great to watch. Most of all, though, it was just an awesome performance of some of my favourite music, they looked like they were having a huge amount of fun, and for three near-60-year-olds they rocked like they were 20 years younger. And they played 'The Spirit of Radio', so I was very happy indeed! :D

Some vids that are actually from the Chicago show:

, which was the stand-out moment of many stand-out moments for me for many reasons, but I can only find a decent vid of half the song from the Chicago show :(

- you can see the whole effect of the screens better in this one

(love it with the string ensemble, but dammit that it cuts off just as they start The Spirit of Radio :banghead: )

I just meant that I usually stick my mp3 on random and listen to whatever comes on. My main likes are Paradise lost, Megadeth, Alice cooper, Ac/dc, Judas priest. Sometimes I do listen to just 1 artists complete albums, especially when cycling.

Great that you enjoyed it so much. I haven't watched the videos yet but I will. Funnily enough I was watching a video earlier of Meytal Cohen drumming Rush's YYZ.

I was just kidding with you Dex  You could always post what happens to be playing at the time.
