The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

My favourite title is 'The Raw Shark Texts' by Steven Hall

'Soda Bread and Rosewater' by Marsha Mehran. My mouth waters everytime I think of this title. The book itself is a great read.

The God of Small Things though I didn’t like the book much but the title made so curious

Tom Wolfe has many good ones, for example The Kandy-Kolored Tangerine-Flake Streamline Baby, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test  and The Pump House Gang.

And Iain M Banks' Feersum Endjinn always makes me smile - it reminds me just how funny that book is.

 

Iain M. Banks has had some good titles; Look to Windward, Consider Phlebas, Inversions, the rather simple Matter and my personal favourite, Excession.

 

My entry in this thread would be Stand on Zanzibar, by John Brunner. I was expecting Kylie to beat me to this!
