Weave Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 The Office~An American Workplace, season six starts tonight (and hopefully The Vampire Diaries which I v~plused last night) Quote
Lucybird Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Just watched Waterloo road, now The Apprentice. Quote
pickle Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Tonight it will be 'The only way is Essex' - I can't help it, it's my guilty pleasure lol Oh yeah I am guilty of watching bits of this..its the only way I learnt what a vagazzle is Quote
Peacefield Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Vampire Diaries, followed by The Office, followed by The Mentalist. All my fave shows are on Thursdays - I can't help it! Oh, and I would've been watching Bones, but the stupid baseball playoffs have commandeered the channel it's normally on. The only thing that will help me be less bitter is if the Yankees go down in flames. Quote
Weave Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Law and Order ~ SVU And maybe 'The Event' Quote
Karsa Orlong Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Planning to catch up with season 6 of Supernatural and am currently working my way through season 1 of The Big Bang Theory, although I might watch Shutter Island as I've rented it and it's been sitting there for a few days. Quote

Good stuff! (and it gets better with each passing series!). Quote
alison10 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Emmerdale & Ghost Whisperer which I recorded earlier in the week. Quote
Karsa Orlong Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Good stuff! (and it gets better with each passing series!). Good to know! I'd only ever seen snippets here and there until recently, then caught a few episodes on E4 - which I'm guessing were season 3 - and decided I had to catch up. Quote
Raven Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 As the series go on the writers have got a better handle on the characters and the show gets funnier because of it. I think my favourite episode is one where they show how Leonard met Sheldon, but that's at the arse end of series three so you have a bit of a way to go! All the nerd stuff doesn’t hurt, either! Karsa Orlong Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 (edited) As the series go on the writers have got a better handle on the characters and the show gets funnier because of it. I think my favourite episode is one where they show how Leonard met Sheldon, but that's at the arse end of series three so you have a bit of a way to go! I think I've actually seen that one - is it the one where they explain what happened to the lift (er, sorry - elevator)? I also like the Wil Wheaton one, where they had the bowling match and Wheaton was trying to split up Penny and Leonard just so Sheldon's team would lose the game Edited October 23, 2010 by Karsa Orlong Quote
Raven Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 ^ That's the one. The Wil Wheaton episodes are very good as well, and the good news is he is due to return in season four. Quote
Nollaig Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Hoping to watch Merlin, assuming nobody takes over the tv and puts X Factor on. Quote

Peacefield Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I'm about to pop in Kicka*s! I've heard it's hilarious, so hopefully it won't be too much of a time-waster . Quote
Kidsmum Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Sleepyhead on Sky1 just because it's got the very lovely David Morrisey in Quote
