DanC_84 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Started rewatching 'Stripes' again last night. Classic movie.
Peacefield Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 New Moon .. again Awww, I'm so proud of you *sniff* . I watched another West Wing episode last night - 'Mr. Willis of Ohio.'
Chrissy Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I watched another West Wing episode last night - 'Mr. Willis of Ohio.' As I recall, an excellent and classic WW episode.
Jim Mappelle Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 2012. Wasn't the 'epic' I was expecting; was 'OK', wouldn't watch it again though. Jim
Charm Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Awww, I'm so proud of you *sniff* . aww thank you! :friends0:Sending you some sparkly vibes this time!
Peacefield Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Thanks, Charm! It is a great episode, Chrissy, I agree! Toby was in top form .
Stephanie2008 Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Yeah I like that one too. Mr Willis actually listens to what's said and votes for what he thinks is right rather than being involved in the politics - can't say that happens often God, I'm flying through West Wing (it's too good ) and now on season 5 episode "The Supremes" which I love
chrysalis_stage Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Watched a few dvds over the weekend. Both series (every episode) of Spaced, first series of No Heroics and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus - all great!
Rawr Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 That's what I thought when I bought Alien vs Predator, it's so bad that it's good.
ned Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Luckily i didn't buy it i borrowed it from my brother along with Looking For Eric which i am going to try and watch tonight. I don't have high hopes for it
Stephanie2008 Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Jason X is definitely one of those "so bad it's good" movies.
Peacefield Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Yeah I like that one too. Mr Willis actually listens to what's said and votes for what he thinks is right rather than being involved in the politics - can't say that happens often God, I'm flying through West Wing (it's too good ) and now on season 5 episode "The Supremes" which I love Yeah, Mr. Willis was pretty smart, Stephanie! It was interesting to watch too since we're now in the middle of taking the 2010 census here in the US. It's very educational! I love the episode 'The Supremes!' There are so many good arguments in it, and I especially love seeing Glenn Close and the other guy being appointed go back and forth with all their constitutional knowledge. I love too how excited the Senior Staff get at having these two on the bench .
Cookie Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Play it to the Bone with Woody Harrelson and Antonio Banderas. A black comedy about two over the hill boxers. It was that bad until the end and then I felt sick. I don't like boxing...OH made me watch it with him.
Peacefield Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Last night we watched two horrid pieces of filmmaking, '2012' and 'Ice Twisters.'
Raven Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 My Neighbours the Yamadas Bit of an odd one this as the film isn't one story but rather a sequence of sketches focusing on the everyday lives of the titular Yamada family. This isn't your usual Studio Ghibli fair, apart from the content being markedly different so is the animation, which changes in style several times during the course of the film. The focus is definitely on humour rather than story telling, and whilst there are some amusing sketches it jumps around a lot and the end result is more of an interesting experiment than a polished product.
Raven Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince A lot more entertaining that I thought it was going to be, but why was it so dark?! (the picture, not the story!).
catwoman Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 I watched Clue with m y friends, some of whom never watched it before. I love the film one of my favourites ever. It stars the amazing Tim Curry and Christoper lloyd. Great film.

I must watch that again soon I watched Secret Window last night, I forgot how much I liked this.
