I'm watching Benny and Joon, and might I just ask - why are all Irish women (usually nannies/housekeepers etc) portrayed as slightly unhinged women from the 1700's who speak in poetic or old English? It's infuriating - they might as well put leprechauns bouncing round the place while they're at it. :censored:

Bouncing leprechauns would make a good film. My landlord is Irish and reminds me of a leprechaun, and that's not because he has an Irish accent, he just looks like one :censored:

 

I am watching the birds hopping and frolicking amongst the lawn of the garden and the bare branches of the tree :no:

Havent watched that fully for years, but I could recite most of the scenes from it. One of the best if not the best gangster film ever made.

 

 

It's certainly up there. Preceded only by Godfather, Part II and Once Upon a Time in America.

I keep flicking the Eurovision thing on because there's someone from my hometown on it :no: No doubt they will be the worst :censored:
