I'm going to have breakfast and read a few pages of Memnoch the Devil until noon (ish) before writing up an essay summary.

I'm about 100 pages into The court of the air by Stephen Hunt and I'm loving it so far. I like the fact that he doesn't go into major detail about things - it's like he assumes you know what he's on about and gets on with it - it makes a lovely change.

I also spent last week re-reading The Tomorrow series by John Marsden and I'm so glad I did - it's still one of the best series I've ever read

Finished two books in the lst few days..The Eyre Affair, (Loved it!) and Darkly Dreaming Dexter. (A bit disappointed.)

Also bought two books by John Connelly. The Black Angel (starting this today), and Nocturnes.

I've read... eight pages of Sepulchre by Kate Mosse. Didn't have the time to do better. >< I'm also reading all the threads I can, because I really have to do my Christmas list (that means: all the books I will have to spend all my money for in London, cause the books are reaaaally cheaper xD).

I also read the summary of the latest Dan Brown, but this book is for my mother, I don't think it's my style.

Well I didn't order that present, I seem to have lost my card :)

But I have read some more of The Lucifer Effect now.

Finished Eclipse.

Cried a bit, died a little inside - the usual associated with Twilight books.

On to Breaking Dawn! How I'm going to navigate this monstrosity without breaking the spine, I do not know.

Suggestions on a postcard, to the usual address.

POSTCARD! Why not use a book periscope. You can just slip the slender periscope between the pages and persuse at you leisure! :) (I may have to patent this idea)

Go on girl - crack that spine, or borrow a copy from the library that you won't worry about. :(

Hahaha what fantastic ideas all! :( Chrissy I REFUSE to break spines, that's the one thing I'm very uppity about when it comes to books.

I'm 70 pages in and just being very, very careful :)

Come on, Noll, it's BD! It deserves to be cracked :irked:.

I've read 2 dismal chapters of Lost Symbol this weekend. I just hate sitting reading when I'm surrounded by boxes. My urge to organize and put away is greater than this book, I'm afraid.

It deserves to be burned, Marcia.

But it's a pretty book and I'll look after it accordingly.

I'm 133 pages in, and Jacob's section is about to begin. :irked:

I finished Dead To The World and now starting Dead As A Doornail :irked: DAAD will be my 118th book, so it's looking very likely that I'll hit my 125 target :D

I finished They Shoot Horses, Don't They? by Horace McCoy, and I've started The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark. I'm having a little trouble concentrating because I'm sick and feeling groggy from medicine, but I'm getting there!

Only read 95 pages of Mr Darcy Vampyre. I am slowly getting through it, not had much time to read it.

So far it is Ok. A little boring for me so far though, but I think it's becuase 1) I was expecting a little more vampire going ons to exist, and 2) Elizabeth is not how I remember her originally. But we shall see. I was expecting loads from this book, so I hope it delivers at some point. If not I think my mojo may dissapear.. Nooooooooo :irked:

300 pages into Breaking Dawn and - disturbingly - I'm enjoying it immensely. I suspect my newfound werewolf appreciation is helping with that. But I'm starting to worry now that I'm going to end up LIKING the ending.

I'm doomed.
