Jo-Bridge Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Let The Right One In Is this any good? Really want to see it but think I'll just scare myself!
Stephanie2008 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Jo-Bridge Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 watched the original Fame last night! Got the thumbs down from my friends but i liked it!
Peacefield Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 That's a classic, Jo-Bridge! Excellent movie . Late last night I watched the first half of 'Return to Me,' which is just a lovely feel-good movie that I never get tired of.
scottishbookworm Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 my left foot with Daniel day lewis
Dimitra Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 We watched Watchmen () and I thought it was brilliant, one of the best films of the year so far IMO.
Rawr Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Dawn of the Dead (Original) - One of my fave zombie apocalypse films
Peacefield Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Watched one of my faves tonight, American Movie. If anyone ever wants to see a documentary about a guy in the midwest making his own horror film using friends and family members, see this one! It's hilarious .
Adam Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 The Ringer. This movie was a complete waste of time
Fi. Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I finally watched Slumdog Millionaire - my Mum came over to watch it as she's wanted to see this film since it came out at the cinema and she was really disappointed with it
Lilywhite Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 That's a shame Fi, I really liked that film. TBH I gave it while because the hype just built it up too much, but when I did watch it, I enjoyed it for what it was. I'm watching 12 Rounds with John Cena (wrestlers acting in films FTW!)
Fi. Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That's a shame Fi, I really liked that film. TBH I gave it while because the hype just built it up too much, but when I did watch it, I enjoyed it for what it was. I enjoyed it but I'm not totally sure what my mum was expecting Just sat and watched Madagascar 2
ned Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke. I don't see what all the fuss was about, it is quite pants.
Talisman Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Only Fools and Horses - To Hull and Back. I have the entire collection on DVD and love all of them, but this is definately one of the best.
rach.at.the.disco Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Russell Howard Live. Absolutely hilarious. Definitely one of my favourite comedians. And he's cute too.
Stephanie2008 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Russell Howard Live. Absolutely hilarious. Definitely one of my favourite comedians. And he's cute too. I often read quite bad comments about him, particularly regarding Mock the Week, but I really like him. I think he's great I watched the first episode of Nip/Tuck this afternoon
BookJumper Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of The Opera - appalling. Quite how he was able to ruin it when it's his show, I'm not too sure. I feel a scathing IMDB review coming on...
Lilywhite Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 Watched Observe and Report before. It's like Paul Blart Mall Cop but taken too far. Not so great IMO. Now watching Knowing with Nicholas Cage. So far it's quite intriguing but I'm wondering when they are going to blame it on the aliens, as they so often do in wierd future predicting movies.... ETA: Yup, as predicted, it's the aliens...
