  9. Hi - just wondering if you still have the book ring copy of 'Life on the Refrigerator Door'?

  10. I am fine, thanks. Work is busy - no, life is busy - but ticking along nicely. I recently read a book of short stories by Jeffrey Deaver. I haven't read any of his stuff before, so this made a good introduction to him. It was called Twisted and every story had - you've guessed it - a twist. However, he's a very clever one, is Jeff, and the twists were mostly all surprises. Result!

As for Harlan Coben, I really enjoy the relationship between Myron and Win. It's almost a symbiotic kind of thing. Love 'em, I do.

What's going on in your world? I've applied for a new job (I've been headhunted!), and I'm hopeful I'll get it. We'll see pretty soon.

    Hope you're very well.

  11. Hi Mac

You are most definately not rude and now I'm slow too respond! We' re going to be apologising 4ever at this rate hee hee! Coben is very skilled I agree but maybe overplays the "twist" angle in a lot of his books though- I think if you realise there is probabbly a twist coming in the novel you tend to try and guess it! How are you anyway?

  12. I read the second book first so dont worry!- I love this series of books!
  13. Apparantly they are making a tv series of these books with Anna Paquin as the lead. I need to start to read them before I get a picture of the characters in my head!
