Charm Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I have not watched the show but that last paragraph may make me start Just make sure there are no kids around! Quote
BookBee8 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I have not watched the show but that last paragraph may make me start It is one of the best things about the show! But we don't mind the bum-flashes, and really, isn't the point to make us happy?! Well, exactly. I'm definitely not complaining. Quote
catwoman Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Haha Yes I think it will definately be when the little ones have gone to bed. Should I read the books first or just get prepared for some naked bum action right now?? Quote
Kell Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Ooh, go straight for the nekkid bums! Get hold of the books too, but deffo ogle those lovely bums as soon as possible! Quote
Nicola Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 My BF was not impressed with that. Mine gets annoyed with all the sex too My OH doesn't!! Think that's why he doesn't mind watching it! It's all backwards. My BF gets all offended and doesn't see the point in it. There's me sitting there saying, "Oh, stop being such a prude!". Saying that, we're halfway through the second season now and I think he's getting used to it. Though he still isn't keen when we get a flash of [enter gorgeous male here]'s bum! My BF keeps saying "you know....if you want me to download you some soft porn, all you have to do is ask" Haa!! It just happens that whenever a sex scene pops onto the screen (which to be fair is quite a regular occurence) he puts his head around the door to see how I am! Mortifying!! Quote
Weave Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 You know I am being worried that I find 'True Blood' more funny than anything else, Friday night's episode was really funny, Tara's face at the confederate flag and then Lafayette sorted out those blokes in the bar Quote
Weave Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I really hope so, Gyre! As much as I adore Eric, the romantic in me thinks Sam would be perfect for Sookie, and I'd love her to end up with Sam. Chesil, you and I will keep the flag flying for Sam! Quote
Weave Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 In Episode 8 when Bill comes out the ground and they just do it in the graveyard!!! I had to hide my eyes from his muddy bum!! I am sorry Nicola, I can't help giggling at your spoiler , I just keep imaging your reaction when you saw it!, I saw it in a trailer and dropped my iron (it wasn't on) Quote
Peacefield Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 When I saw that episode, I kept thinking is that seriously the first thing you would do if you had just dug your BF out of the ground?! It was bizarre, but I loved it . Gyre and Chesil, count me in on the flag-flying . Quote

Yay!, I know, you would think that it might not be the best spot, but (unrelated) the same thing happened in 'My Sweet Audrina' (but both of them were alive), they just got caught up in the moment Quote

I laugh at least several times each episode. The first season was a lot funnier, I thought. Still, so many great moments! Quote
Weave Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Me too! I laugh at least several times each episode. The first season was a lot funnier, I thought. Still, so many great moments! There is a lot of humour especially with Jason, because he is such a bonehead Quote
Peacefield Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Yep, I think Tara and Jason are the funniest. Oh and Lafayette too! I love him . Quote
BookBee8 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Eric made me giggle in a recent episode (second season). Something like: Sookie: Is Godric your maker? Eric: Don't use words you don't understand. Sookie: Do you love him? Eric: Don't use words I don't understand. I laughed so hard. It was his face, the tone and just everything. Was great. Quote

Well I have to admit I wasn't expecting it!! haa! Me too! I laugh at least several times each episode. The first season was a lot funnier, I thought. Still, so many great moments! It's such a funny series isn't it. I love Lafayette & Tara when they just tell it like it is Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I saw the trailer for that episode too Quote
Weave Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I saw the trailer for that episode too Were you surprised Stephanie? I felt really sorry for Bill last week when he was talking at the DGD (Descendants of the glorius dead) meeting, and he was remembering his family, sometimes I forgot that Bill has lost so much, its sad. (a bit profound there for a Monday morning ) Poor Sam and his awful date with Sookie, I felt bad for both of them. And finally, I knew what was going to happen to Sookie's Gran but it was still a bit shocking! Quote
Inver Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I attempted to watch True Blood last night, but it didn't hold my interest but maybe I didn't watch it long enough to see this Eric bloke....do I need to give it another go! Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Gyre, I just saw that episode too I thought it was really sad when Bill was talking and the mayor gave him that photo - although the crying blood thing is a bit icky! I know what you mean about the last part too. Reading about the grandmother dying isn't as bad as seeing her dead. She was really sweet too. I'm looking forward to next week's episode Quote
