Janet
I hope you won't mind me making a suggestion, but it's quite nice to keep an update in the first post too. You can still do what you're doing below, but if you update the first post then it's easier to copy/paste into future posts rather than trying to find the latest one. Feel free to ignore this suggestion, but I believe a lot of people do this.
Ceinwenn
That's a good idea, Janet. Thanks! What's the word count max per post, though as I didn't keep any extra blank posts at the top.
Janet
I'm not 100% sure, but if you run out of space later, I'm sure Paula wouldn't mind me deleting her "Happy reading! Looking forward to hearing about your reads " post, making you second poster so you can edit that bit too. I suggest we leave it for now and cross that bridge when we come to it, if that's okay with you? ETA: I'm off out now - will check later. Ceinwenn
The Death of Vishnu by Manil Suri - 1/10 Well, even though I did not technically read this book, because I didn't finish it, I'm adding it anyway because I did read 1/2 of it. Ceinwenn
I loved both of the ones I have read. The 1st one made me chuckle in quite a few places, but the second had me laughing out loud!
Ceinwenn
Tonight I finished reading The Reader by Bernhard Schlink. I thought it was an ok book, but nothing to get overly excited about. Vaguely disappointed, really. Kell
Have you seen the film, The Reader, yet? I watched it the other day and thought it very good. I have the book on my own Mount TBR...
