RCee Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I haven't really read much Chick Lit in the last couple of years but I used to love Fiona Walker. I also liked Marian Keyes and Jenny Colgan. Quote
leah86 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I really like Marian Keyes. Especially like her books - "Rachel's Holiday" and "Watermelon". Quote
Lorelei Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I've loved every book by Victoria Routledge, specially 'AND FOR STARTERS...' and 'FRIENDS LIKE THESE' Quote
Shin Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I like Marian Keyes but still have a few of her books to read. I also enjoy Sophie Kinsella, Jane Green and Carol Matthews. But I love Janet Evanovich's Stephenie Plum series. They are quite funny. Quote

Piper Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I really like Marian Keyes but also like Jane Green. I loved Jill Mansell's early books but not been tempted by the last few. Sometimes I think author's write too many books too quickly and they seem to lose that spark. Quote
poppyshake Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I love Marian and Maeve .. a bit of Irish charm and wit is always good Quote
booklover7809 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 It's a tie between Marian Keyes and Jane Green for me. Maggie Alderson is quite good too. Quote
funrun Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 tess .g sophie k kathy r lisa gardener karen s. are all good Quote
Bunny Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 there are too many chick lit authors I like for me to pick a favourite Quote
welshchick30 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 out of the list my favourite has to be Marian Keyes and Sophie Kinsella. But my favourite authors of all time are Martina Cole and James Patterson:) Quote
Nollaig Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Anna McPartlin. I officially love her, and chick-lit as a result of her. Quote
LindseyandMatthew Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I really do love Sophie Kinsella her books are so easy to read Quote
aquarius91 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I like Marian Keyes and Cecelia Ahern (Where rainbows end being my fav). I've only read one of Sophie Kinsella's books (Can you keep a secret?) which was good but wouldn't make it in my top 10. I also enjoy Jill Mansell, Adele Parks and Belinda Jones. Quote
wolfsbane Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Marian Keyes every time, has me in fits, tears, stitches and hysterics all within the same page, genius Quote
AbielleRose Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Janet Evanovich has some great books. The Stephanie Plum series is wonderful for a laugh. Quote
Kate Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Janet Evanovich has some great books. The Stephanie Plum series is wonderful for a laugh. I'm glad you put this up as I took out one of her books from the library and have never read her work before Quote
dolphingirl Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 My favorite Women writers are: 1. Val McDermid 2. Kathy Reichs 3. Beverly Connor 4. Joanne Fluke To name just a few. I love reading so it's really hard to narrow it down to just a few! Quote
AlwaysAttract Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Oh I too love Sophie Kinsella! Its so nice to read it and just sit there until you have finished it, without thinking half way through, ' Omg, where who why' over and over again . Did you know that Remember Me? is becoming er next sequel apperently. Also, i like Catherine Alliot and Katie Fford Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I have read two Elizabeth Noble books in a row now and she would be my second favourite chick-lit author, slightly behind Sophie Kinsella Quote
scottishbookworm Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 for me it's marian keyes and carole matthews Quote
chesilbeach Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Just reviewed my original post and have to say, having read a few chick-lit books over the last year, my favourites are still Annie Sanders, but of some of the new authors I've read, I've been impressed by both Anna McPartlin and Anna Davis. And, now I'm officially freaked out because I've realised they're all Annie or Anna's! Quote
Nicola Booth Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Marian Keyes would have to be all time favourite out of that list. I have read all of Cecilia Ahern to date - got her new one for Christmas so still have to read that. Read Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella last year after going to see the movie. They were fab and her stand alone novels are entertaining, especially enjoyed twenties girl. Quote
yellowstonegirl Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Sophia Kinsella! I love her books! Quote
Kate Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I don't know really. I do have a soft spot for chick-lit novels so have read quite a few different authors. I think Debbie Macomber is at the top for me, although I do enjoy Sophie Kinsella, Dorothy Koomson, Nora Roberts etc. Quote
