Michelle Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 I hate trying to find something for lunch - there's only so many days that I can eat sandwiches before I become a little bored by them! So what was for luch today? Quote
Michelle Posted March 14, 2006 Author Posted March 14, 2006 Lunch today for me is explained in my blog: http://mj7.blogspot.com/ Quote
Kell Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Ooh, I LVOE a nice omlette! I tend to bring lunch with me to work, so I do a variety of soups & sandwiches. Last night I made a HUGE pot of my chickpea & chorizo soup, so I took a nice, crusty roll to have with a flask of that, along with a cereal bar & a small pack of dried berries with almonds to nibble on - yummy! Inanna Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 My lunch is pretty much the same everday and that is marmite on toast, with a cup of tea Quote
Kell Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Inanna - you seem to LIVE on nothing but toast - LOL! Quote
Emma Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Boring egg sarnie for me - couldn't even have mayonnaise as we've run out Kell that soup sounds lovely. Quote
Kell Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Kell that soup sounds lovely. It's dead easy too - I can't remember if I've posted the recipe before. If not, I'll pop it into the recipe thread for you. It's wonderfully warming in the winter! Quote

Kell Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 You need to vary things though, Inanna, or you'll get bored with it all & end up throwing in the towel. Try havnig your toast with some tasty soup - it can make all the difference & doesn't have to be calorific at all. Quote
Tash Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 I just had 3 slices of fresh baguette, all with cheese, 1 with mayo/tomato, 1 just cheese and the other with pickle. I had 2 small (chinese) bowls of my homemade pepper soup with it. Yuuuum. Quote

Oh I could never get bored of marmite on toast I have loved it for years and besides I find it soooo filling and yummy. Sometimes I do have vegetarian bolognese for lunch, but then means I get to have toast for dinner Quote
