supergran71
I couldnt find the thread for this!! I read today that the following "celebs" are being considered/already asked Richard Hammond Tim Henman Kelly Brock (she wants another go, she had to drop out last year) Sharon Osbourne Richard Madeley and...... wait for it Zara Phillips(Princess Anne's daughter) and her boyfriend Mark Tindall (rugby player) None of these have been confirmed. Karen1
I'd heard that Zara Phillips and her boyfriend were being considered but not the others. I don't think Kelly should be in it again as she has an unfair advantage.
Stephanie2008
I heard that Lisa Snowden, Rachel Stevens, Katie and Peter, Gary Rhodes and Teddy Sherringham were taking part (although that is from The Sun). I really love this programme and I'm looking forward to it coming back.
Mia
Yes, the Mirror mentioned the above names as well, and said that Jodie Kidd was "on standby". I'm looking forward to this coming back.

Stephanie2008
I can't wait either. Already I want Rachel Stevens or Cherie Lingui to win. It is quite a good line up again this year. This show always tends to get people I've at least heard off.
supergran71
It was a pretty good show for the first one wasn't it? And isn't Mark Foster a hunk!!!! whoooooeeee. I enjoyed all their performances and thought they were all pretty good. I wonder who will get knocked out? My guess either John Sergeant or Gary Rhodes. Karen1
Didn't see this last night, did someone get kicked off last night or is the 'eviction' tonight?
bookwormmum
Yep, eviction is tonight. I had it on in the background while I browsed the net. Haven't a got a favourite yet.
Karen1
I must try and remember to watch it next week.
Karen1
Thank Laura. I might just do that later. They always used to show the results show on the same night as the live show itself, but I think it was last year that they changed it. Although I didn't actually watch it last year. Mia
I really enjoyed it! I thought the guy from Casualty who went first and the small rugby player (Austin Healey?) were very good - they were the best. Gary Rhodes, Don Warrington and Phil Daniels weren't too brilliant. John Sergeant was better than I expected; quite light on his feet. I have to say that when the women did their group dance, I wasn't too impressed with any of them! Apart from Rachel Stevens, they were all poor. Gillian Taylforth was hilariously dire - she just kept walking around instead of dancing! I know they've got time to improve, but looking at that shambles, I think a man will win this year. I loved the banter between the judges, who were all trying hard to be civil to each other as it was the first show. I don't know how long it'll be before Len Goodman says that Bruno is getting on his wick - probably tonight!
Purple Princess
I thought it was a really good first show last night, don't have a favourite yet.... I thought all the women were awful as well Mia - should be interesting to watch them next week
happyanddandy
ew that last dance was terrible!!!
supergran71
I think Don Warrington should have gone. He was so wooden in his movements and unsmiling. Out of the two I preferred Phil Daniels, at least he was funny

Leetid
I thought a few of the men were quite good and really enjoyed watching it this year. It will be interesting to see how well the girls do as some of them didn't look too good on Saturday and Sunday. Mark Foster looks very very nice to look at while he is dancing, it will be nice when he is wearing one of the skimpy outfits!
Stephanie2008
I didn't think that Phil deserved to go. Don and Gary were both worse than him, but I guess that's the nature of the show. My favourite male is Austin, with Andrew coming a close second. The women didn't seem as good as I first thought but I still think Rachel will be the one to watch.
