Chrissy
I occasionally buy Good Housekeeping magazine, and always read my great-nephew's Dr Who Adventures magazine whenever we visit.
Ben
It'd be great if we could just bundle up all your book reviews of a while and that'd be a magazine (along with some feature articles) XD, I'd totally read that! This would be an amazing idea. I don't often read magazines. I really the supplement in The Times most weekends, and I pick up the Radio Times now and again, but other than that I'm not a big fan of magazines. There's a magazine called Respect that's hip-hop based that I wouldn't mind perusing, but I haven't found anywhere in the UK that sells it yet (not that I've asked around much, mind..) emelee
I seldom read magazines anymore. They are too expensive and much too filled with ads. I do like the popular science mags. Expensive, but always interesting and not a lot of ads. I also buy a female lifestyle mag (Swedish) called "Om". It's cheaper and IMO more interesting than others in it's genre. "Books & dreams" is another mag I like enough to buy some issues of. Last week I bought a magazine for dog owners, as it had some interesting things in it. I like interior design magazines and craft magazines, but often they are too expensive, and as always, filled with advertisement. I would LOVE to produce my own magazine. It would be filled with: reviews (books, movies, tv-series, music, games....), interior design ideas (before & after), travels, new trends (hair, clothes, shoes, nails...), interviews with interesting people, photography, animals, a page written by a random common person, interesting spreads with facts about inventions or science etc, a spread about an historical event a crossword puzzle a comic strip page news - not gossip! - about famous people ----------- basically, everything. And limited ad space.

Ben
We should do some kind of BCF site/blog that has all our favourite things written by solely by members on here (reviews, quizzes, articles, etc.) Not sure how that would work but I have no doubt it'd be great. Drislane
Provided you feature both Donald Duck and a generous measure of superheroes in that comic strip, pretty sure I am with Athena in ordering my subscription Emelee!
Raven
We should do some kind of BCF site/blog that has all our favourite things written by solely by members on here (reviews, quizzes, articles, etc.) What, like this you mean? I think there is/was a more recent version somewhere as well, but I can't find it.
Ben
Yeah, I meant like the blog but obviously making a thread and getting everyone to pull together and contribute to it with the things people have mentioned in this thread. I think it could work out great if we made a proper go of it.

Of course. Donald Duck is of course a given, as is Winnie the Pooh. The comic strip page would include both humor, sweetness and action.
