Chimera
I never payed much attention to what I used as bookmarks before, but I think I've caught the bog thanks to this thread *laughs*
BookBee8
The Twilight bookmarks which I ordered about 3 weeks ago still haven't arrived. So, I treated myself to this: Clicky!
Chimera
Very nice BookBee! My current favourite is this one. It's after one of La Fontaine's fables "The crow and the fox" (are those known in other countries than france? They are absolute classics for us) and I find it really cute
BookBee8
I haven't heard of them, but the bookmark is very cute!
Chimera
mmm Probably not. Actually I think this has inspired me to re-read them... They're the kind of classics that we've read and re-read for school (and learnt by heart in some cases as they made very good poetry learning material) so I'm sure I would enjoy them more/ differently now. pipread
We have, Aesop`s Fables, are they the same?
Chimera
Same idea and writing format, but not the same author. Actually I just checked them out and they are so similar that I thought "The Lion and and the mouse" was one of La Fontaine's but it turns out it's one of Aesop. BookBee8
Where did you order them? Normally most says arrive within 7- 14 days. Have you e-mailed them? Nice one bee, that's rubbish delivery though! Ooh no, I didn't buy it online. That was just to show you guys what it looked like. I bought it from the shop 'Paperchase'. BookBee8
Ohh, you're asking about the Twilight bookmarks? I'm so silly. I thought you were asking about the one I bought today. The Twilight ones are from Ebay. We've emailed them but we've had no reply!
Pilgrim
I usually read e-books but when I'm not I'm usually discussing it and the bookmark has lines so I can take notes - sticky ones so that I can put two together back to back.

Charm
Great sites Inver and Heather! Think I'll have a tinker with them later and maybe print out a couple.
Ben
To my utmost shame, I've lost my Davinci Code bookmark. I have a funny feeling my mum has asked both of my grandma's to keep a look out for a good one for me.. being silly like I am.
sth202
I have loads of bookmarks! Trouble is there are some that are so nice I don't want to use them so they're sitting on my shelf. At the moment I'm using a freebie one I got from a magazine with the Galaxy logo on it.
BookBee8
I've only got six bookmarks. One metal one, three multi-coloured ones and two Twilight ones. The metal one is my favourite at the moment! It's all pretty with lots of colours on it.
Weave
Mr Gyre bought me a bookmark the other day, its unusual, it has a fuffy bunny as its top, so at the moment, a bunny is sticking out of 'The Glass Bead Game'
Kylie
I lost my beautiful book thong the other day when I stupidly left my book behind at the airport It was such a lovely bookmark. I've already bought plenty of beads to make my own, but I really liked the one I bought.

Chrissy
I lost my beautiful book thong the other day when I stupidly left my book behind at the airport It was such a lovely bookmark. I've already bought plenty of beads to make my own, but I really liked the one I bought. It just means that a bookmark will come to you soon that will mean more - it'll be gorgeouser (if this isn't a word it should be!) and the books you read with it will be better, and you'll love it more and never lose it! BookJumper
I have a big pile of unusual postcards collected on my many travels (I've got a couple from a Sicilian catacomb museum with clothed mummies on them, for example), and usually use those. When none is to hand I try to remember the page number, forget, and end up getting really annoyed the next time round when I realise I've just re-read a chapter...
