chesilbeach Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 C-c-c-cold, and foggy........Brrrrrr! Same here! Quote
pontalba Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I saw on the news that the groundhog bit the mayor on the ear in Wisconsin. Mwahaha! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhnUC4bQd8I&spfreload=10 What does the wild rodent sense about the Mayor??? I hadn't seen this! LOL, I saw that, too. That's why you should never waive a wild rodent around near your face. Can't expect much from politicians....... The weather here is absolutely gorgeous, not a cloud in the sky and the temps are mild. Just enough for a medium jacket, unbuttoned. Quote
dtrpath27 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 That's why you should never waive a wild rodent around near your face. Words to live by. It's absolutely lovely down here. I have every window in the house flung wide open. Quote
AbielleRose Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Words to live by. It's absolutely lovely down here. I have every window in the house flung wide open. You must be a southerner or an Aussie, then? Its very dreary here in Fargo. One of those days where everything just looks gray. Quote
dtrpath27 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Any deeper South and I'd be living in the Gulf of Mexico. The neighbors are out getting their pool ready. It seems a bit premature, but I appreciate their optimism. Quote
AbielleRose Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Mmm... I miss swimming. Hope you enjoy the warmth! My toes feel like icicles right now. *shivers* Quote

Virginia Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 Its been pretty warm on this end also. Quote
chesilbeach Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Minus figures on the thermometer earlier this morning, icy pavements and roads, lots of scraping required on car, and very foggy to boot! Lovely walking back from the shops though as the sun came out, and it has turned into a beautiful, bright, crisp day. Quote
chaliepud Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Just had a lovely agility session in the sunshine, I even took my coat off and rolled up my sleeves! Beautiful blue sky and the sun felt really warm, could have been fooled into thinking it was spring already. Quote
itsmeagain Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 We saw a butterfly, an adult small tortoiseshell, yesterday. Quote
poppyshake Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Lovely day today, cold but sunny and still. Perfect winter day! Saw lots of snowdrops when out walking .. so lovely Quote
AbielleRose Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I'm excited for a snow day tomorrow. Its only going to be around 3 inches, but still... yaaaay! Quote
frankie Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 The sun is shining, so it's a good day! Quote
pontalba Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Yesterday and today are absolutely Spring-Like! Is this really February??? Quote
Nollaig Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Grey. :/ Everything is just grey. Hope the sun comes out tomorrow. Quote
AbielleRose Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 It snowed all day yesterday and today is super bright and sunny, but cold. Its deceptively beautiful outside! Quote
Virginia Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 I'm searching the skies for flying houses. This wind is no joke. Quote
bobblybear Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Heavy rain, but I have the day off so I'm happy to stay indoors (until the doggy needs taking out). I've noticed it's getting lighter in the mornings, which makes such a difference. Quote
