Brenda Lee was 12 yrs old when she was asked to record the song. She recorded it when she was 13 yrs old in 1958. This Holiday Season in 2023 the song by Brenda, who is now 78 yrs old, is ranked #1 for Christmas Music in the U.S. Amazing!!!

 

Also Amazing, a little info on Johnny Marks who wrote Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree. Other songs he wrote.
