Nollaig Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 ^ Seconded, I'd love to properly watch some old Who but no idea where to even begin. Quote
Michelle Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 The last time I looked, UK Netflix had some of the Dalek episodes, and US Netflix had a bigger selection - I guess it changes all the time. Some are (or at least were) available to buy on itunes, and some are actually available on YouTube. Quote
Nollaig Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Oooh US netflix? Handy out, I'll go have a looksee Quote
Raven Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 There are rumours going around that Netflix in the US is going to drop Doctor Who on February 1st. This is just internet rumour, though, so don't put too much stock in it. In the UK you can watch old Doctor Who on the Horror channel (as CB said above) and they were showing episodes on Drama before Christmas (they look to have stopped, though). Otherwise, the DVDs are pretty cheap these days, if you want to try a couple. Quote
Raven Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I finished off my Christmas DVDs by watching The King's Demons and The Planet of Fire box set on Monday evening. It was a real novelty to see two Davison era stories that I had no recollection of at all - it was like watching new [old] Who! Quote
Michelle Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 I really need to get back to my viewing.. but I can't seem to find enough time, and when I do at the moment, I'm reading. I'm sure the bug will bite again soon. Quote
Raven Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 For anyone who is interested, the BBC Shop are currently selling any 3 individual Classic Who stories for £15.00 and any 2 box sets for £18.00. This isn't advertised on the site, that I can see, and the discount is only applied when you have the right quantities of the relevant products in your basket. Quote
Raven Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 For anyone who is interested, Big Finish have an offer on their Cyberman origin story Spare Parts, it is just £2.99 for a full cast, 4-part audio adventure! (and it is very good!). Quote
