Raven Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Hell, yes. I have posters of him on my bedroom wall.
Timstar Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 If this is a joke... it's gone too far. It's too soon for jokes, the pain is too great.
chesilbeach Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I love that all this conversation makes me think about is Spaced! Might have to dig out my DVDs this evening ...
Sofia Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I watched Warm Bodies yesterday at the cinema and Looper today on dvd How was Warm Bodies? It looks funny and I admit I would like to see it
Kylie Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 If this is a joke... it's gone too far. It's too soon for jokes, the pain is too great. I bet you didn't even have to Google this image. I bet you have a folder on your computer that is full of JJB pics.
Nollaig Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Ugh can't stand Star Wars. Never could. I have no idea what the last film I watched was, but tonight I think I'm going to watch the awesome 50/50 (Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anna Kenrick) again, because A) it's awesome and B) I've been telling people about it and it's made me want to watch it again.
bree Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 (edited) Lots of films the last couple of days- Fast Five The Beauty and The Beast (first film with the little one) The Body In The Library (adaptation of Christie's novel) Drive Drive was particularly impressive. The silences and the soundtrack. Wow. Edited February 16, 2013 by bree
vodkafan Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 How was Warm Bodies? It looks funny and I admit I would like to see it Not a lot of plot but nothing to really dislike about it either, a mild teenage take on the zombie genre. Your daughter will probably like it.
chesilbeach Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Went to see Beautiful Creatures this morning - had the whole cinema to myself! Film was pretty good, and I loved Jeremy Irons and Emma Thompson (who, let's face it, is magnificent in every film she's in!), so a very enjoyable Sunday morning.
risingdawn Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Saw Kindergarten Cop earlier on ITV 2 and now watching Toy Story 2
dex Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 The Phantom menace is the worst Star wars film, The next two were good in comparison, but not a whole lot better.
Sofia Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Not a lot of plot but nothing to really dislike about it either, a mild teenage take on the zombie genre. Your daughter will probably like it. no doubt she will. Planet of the Apes (the original)
risingdawn Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Just finished watching Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 and I have to admit that yeah it was good. But it has annoyed me like hell! I have put my annoyance in the spoiler as it may have spoilers for those who have be interested in the actual film and may not know about the books or whatever. Okay, so it was annoying that the whole bloody battle (the main part of the last book) was portrayed as a vision and didn't bloody happen! I was so eager with the battle seeing the Volturi be destroyed but no, it wasn't meant to be. I swear that didn't happen in the book!
bree Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Watched The Crow last night. And considering the theme of the film, I was just a bit spooked when my partner told me that Brandon Lee died on the sets while shooting it. What a tragedy - such a beautiful boy too.
jared32 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 This year i watch Parker and that is the last movie i saw.
pontalba Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 (edited) Looper was pretty good. I watched Shutter Island, but I was a bit disappointed with it. My hubby had hyped it up too much so I was expecting far too much of it. We liked both of those, I thought DICaprio was excellent! no doubt she will. Planet of the Apes (the original) Hah, watching Charlton Heston emote is almost as fun as William Shatner! Oh, we went to see the newest Die Hard film.....a little disappointing, but LOTS of action, cars and tanks being exploded etc. The guy that played Willis's son in the film was pretty good, but slightly expressionless. Could have simply been the part though. Nice looking kid. Edited February 18, 2013 by pontalba
Peahen Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Everything Must Go with Will Ferrell. Wasn't the best movie.
Peacefield Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I re-watched Star Trek over the weekend (Simon Pegg, woo!) and also saw Salmon Fishing in the Yemen which was lovely. Funny, especially Kristin Scott-Thomas' character. Loved her!
Inver Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Hubby and I just been to see 'Hitchcock'...was very good. Anthony Hopkins was fantastic as Hitch and Helen Mirren good as always as his wife.
