Hey Ooshie! I didn't realize you were a Reichs fan. I'm heading out of town this next weekend to my friends mom's place, and she's going to be lending me the first 2 Reichs books since I've never read her before. I'm a huge fan of Bones, but I know how vastly different it is from the book series. I still want to try reading them since I find the subject matter fascinating, but I guess I'll have to see if my love for the show helps or hinders my reading experience .

Against my better judgement, I told my friend he could bring over 'Hot Tub Time Machine' for us to watch tonight . We'll see how much of a waste of my time it turns out to be, but you never know I may have a laugh or two! Plus, well, John Cusack's in it.

Before I read book #4 in the Sookie Stackhouse series, several people told me it was their favorite out of the bunch, and I had no problem discovering why. I find this series of books only gets better as it goes along, and Sookie has turned into quite a memorable character! By this time in the series she's pretty much resigned herself to the fact that she lives with all sorts of strange creatures in her little place in the world, and she just better get along and try not to be in the middle of so much drama all the time. She's more comfortable with her own abilities as a 'supe,' and I liked seeing Eric so vulnerable and not so much of an a**-hat this time around . All around a very fun read, and I cheered when Alcide came back on the scene and Debbie (eww) came upon an unfortunate turn of events!

I'm reading 'Girl with a Dragon Tattoo' too! Just started it a couple nights ago . I hope we both like it!

It's Thursday, and that means Bones is on!! An hour or so later I'll then be watching the Mentalist. Man, such an excellent night for good-looking men on TV!

I stayed late at work again tonight so couldn't really be bothered with a proper dinner. Right now I'm muching on tortilla chips and the last of my homemade salsa!

I finished Dead to the World this morning before dashing off to work. I just couldn't leave knowing that I had only 10 pages left to read . I'll be posting my thoughts soon!

I'm about to turn off the laptop and watch last week's episode of Ghost Hunters, followed by 'Leap Year.' After 10 hours of work all I want to do is veg!

I have a little less than a hundred pages left of Dead to the World, and I can see why it's a fave of some! Great fluff I think Harris's books get better as the series goes on. Love this one .

Was Daybreakers that one with Ethan Hawke? I borrowed 'No Reservations' the other night from my friend, and it was just okay. Predictable, but still mostly enjoyable. Last night I watched 4 episodes of Bones, season 4, and am anxiously awaiting the next disc to arrive in the mail! I seriously cannot get enough of that show and can see myself watching eps over and over again, just like I do with West Wing...

I'm happily making my way through Dead to the World and am having lots of fun reading it, of course! Today I went to a brunch/book exchange and came away with Girl with a Dragon Tattoo and The Lovely Bones, so I'm excited! They're on my TBR shelf for safe keeping.

It may be wise for Frankie to ship some stuff home, Kylie! After all, she's barely been there a week, right?! I see many more book purchases in her future visiting you . I went to a brunch/book exchange this morning and got back my copies of The Thirteenth Tale and Possession. I also brought and shared The Eyre Affair and The Monsters of Templeton, since they are two of my faves and am glad someone else could borrow them . For me, I'm finally going to get to read Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, woo! I borrowed that one and The Lovely Bones, since I've never read it and have been meaning to. Oh, and this afternoon when I got home I did a bit more reading of Dead to the World and am officially on page 119 .

I managed to squeeze in a whole chapter of Dead to the World last night, wow! Hopefully I'll get more in today since I have nothing planned until much later this evening.

Mmm love risotto, Stephanie! I had dinner out tonight at this new restaurant in town, and although it was a tad bit too trendy for me, it was fun. We had these amazing fries that were apparently cooked in black truffle oil and then sprinkled with gorgonzola cheese. YUM! We also had a really tasty tomato basil flat bread pizza and I must admit I majorly splurged and had a $10 glass of wine . It was so worth it though! Kim Crawford Pinot Noir from New Zealand and I would highly recommend it.

Hey there and welcome to BCF, Tumper! I've gotten back into the habit of listening to books on CD in my car or at work sometimes and it's nice. Lots of Rowling and King fans here too so I'm sure you'll get on great!
