Maybe I'm being silly but when I plug my kindle in the PC I don't seem to be able to find it & I'm trying to put some ebooks on there. Any advice / suggestions please. I know it can be done but I can't work it out.

Only just seen this. Thanks so much. Will remember this YAY sounds good!!!!!!!! Also how do you find these sales you mention? I've seen the 12 days of kindle it pops up on my main shopping page when I go to my book shop app. Is it the same for the other sales or do you have to go looking for them?

I've just had 1 for Xmas. I love it too. Its so addictive. I can't stop buying books though. I wonder if I' 'll be able to read quicker with it. I have heard people say they read quicker with a kindle but never believed it.

just got a kindle for Xmas & spotted this offer. Snapped it right up. Also the life of pi too. Any more bargains please let me know as its all new to me & trying to fill my kindle up. It's so addictive. I hadn't realised before you could get such cheap best selling books on there. Do they often have offers on???

Need some help please. Would you recommend A Song of Ice and Fire for an xmas gift? Its for a family member whos 60 (not sure if it's more of a blokes series or not) I don't know anything about it really. I know it's got good reviews though and was after a boxset. She recently read 'The girl with a Dragon Tattoo' think she enjoyed it. She doesn't really have a specific genre and reads anything including the twilight series. Advice please - found an offer for the boxset for today only

I won't be buying that many books on there I don't think as they're not that much cheaper than paperback but guess will be good for new releases and if I don't want to go out to pick a book up and will be really good for holiday on the beach etc. I'm thinking either the cheapest basic 1 or the kindle fire as I'll surf the net and use it most days just won't be much use for holidays on the beach etc hmmmmmmmm

I need some help please guys!!! I don't know if to ask for a kindle for Xmas and if I do I don't know which 1 to ask for I like the look of the new kindle fire but read that the battery life is really bad (no good for reading on the beach all day on holiday - main time to take a kindle too because of luggage allowance) I also read that reading in sunlight can cause problems (don't believe the older versions had this problem). People have told me that instead of going for the kindle fire get an ipad, samsung etc. but I don't understand how these works. Don't you buy the books from their bookstore and if so don't they have a very limited range and aren't they more expensive than Amazon?? I was only looking at using it for reading books but I wasn't sure if I'd get a lot of use out of it as I am a fan of paperback and do go the library quite often (quite tight with book prices as I read a lot) which is why the kindle fire seemed like the ideal choice as I can use it to surf the web and for apps etc. so at least I know it would get used. I really am in a pickle ..... what to do!?!?

Has anyone read this series please? It's got some amazing reviews but I can't tell if it's aimed more at youngsters or not. I know its a YA read. I've read that it's the best Fallen Angel series going at the moment (beating the Fallen series by Lauren Kate).

The official trailer has just been released now & it looks epic!!!! Also it's probs worth mentioning she has confirmed it will be a series and she is working on the second book as I type. She did an interview in America and confirmed it. You heard it here!!!

I've finally read it and I loved every single page It does start off slow and you'll be like 'what on earth is this garbage' but wait because once you reach the 100 page mark something magical happens and you will be pulled in and hard. Don't be put off just stick with it. This in my opinion is just as good or if not better than Twilight. I laughed and I cried. I never shed one single tear over Twilight. This really is a beautiful story. It will pull at your heart strings. Hard to believe it's the same author in certain ways. Stephenie Meyer says this is her BEST piece of work so far so for all you people that didn't get a long with Twilight do not be put off by the author. She actually says as an author she has grown and if she could she would go back and re-write twilight. This is sci-fi without being sci-fi, so again don't be put off if sci-fi isn't your thing (it certainly isn't my cup of tea). I nearly didn't bother reading this. I didn't think it sounded very good. It makes you question what you would do if you was in that situation. It really is a beautiful book and is now one of my all time favourites!!!!!! Before reading this I didn't know if I loved stephenie Meyer as an author or just the story of Twilight however I can now safely say I love her as an author. I felt like I was there. I could visualise everything clearly and I fell in love with the characters and was laughing over many things. Some great humour is used. Please if you haven't already read this DO IT!!!!!! I cannot wait for the film to see how they have done it although I don't think it will come close to the book.

If she's read the twilight series I thoroughly recommend 'the host' by the same author. It's not chick lit, if anything its sci-fi but believe me i'm a chick-lit lover & a massive twilight fan & the host has blown me away just as much as twilight. After the first 100 pages it's amazing & I would say its up there with twilight 110% . I can't get enough. If you want that something special 'the host' or 'me before you'. Btw it's worth mentioning I'm not into sci-fi either. As Stephenie Meyer says it's sci-fi without being sci-fi

Chalie I've ordered Night Road. It's on its way and I got it for a bargain price. Brand new £2.19 It's been on my list ever since you recommended it. I shall let you know what I think once I get round to reading it. Very excited about this one!!!

I second this and was going to suggest it myself but Chalie beat me to it Nicholas Sparks is a great chick lit author and so is Paige Toon if that helps. Can't go wrong with any of them. If chosing Nicholas Sparks either The Notebook, The Best of Me, The Last Song & Paige Toon Lucy in the Sky or Pictures of Lilly. Hope that helps Btw although not chick lit has she read the Twilight Saga?
