  1. How good is that book? Or is it just me? I LOVED it Go Rosie!
  2. Damn right! Thinking of the lyrics help the day in work go a little bit quicker
  3. I've got through approximately 50 pages of Shogun tonight. It's quite hard going at times and has been a little slow to start, but seems to be opening up quite nicely. Time just seems to disappear whilst reading it, it is quite engrossing despite not being the easiest read i've ever had.
  4. Forest are the best team I have seen in this league, better than even Newcastle (sorry!) A draw would be a very good result, I am not holding out hope for anything more. Although after we had a completely unexpected win at Derby anything is possible.
  5. Ahh but this game isnt on sky sports, watching sky sports that people broadcast over the internet is immoral and something I would never do... It is being shown however on TV throughout many parts of europe, sweden and the Middle east and they all broadcast via the Internet, it would be rude not to watch it seeing as they go to all that effort
  6. Nottingham Forest away Saturday, god bless foreign TV channels that broadcast over the Internet
  7. It was just my poor attempt at humor, I wouldn't play that at my wedding....I'd keep it for the reception
  8. You need help Uni The second episode of CSI I watched last night had Laurence Fishburne in it and was much less cheesier than the first I had seen, wish I had taken note of which series it actually was that I didn't like.
  9. So, what are Monday nights televisual recommendations, anyone?
  10. "I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo, what the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here" "run run run run... run... run..."
  11. I think that may explain my lack of ability to meet deadlines at work then I am like that generally though now that I think about it, time just happens.. I would like to point however that I was doing other things and it didnt take me 2 hours just to read 20 pages Right, back to Japan, I am supposed to be stuck in a cellar with a group of sailors, hope they hadnt noticed that I had left....
  12. I didnt realise the time, I have finished work and was going to settle down and read Shogun for a few hours but have to go back out at 3.30, so i've only managed 20 pages. Where did the last two hours go?
  13. A rissole Does anyone outside of south wales even know what these are?
  14. Yes I did note that they were dropping lines in about a certain gadget or a certain technique does some amazing thing. All seemed a bit random, I did think it would be a bit deeper, I was falling asleep during the last 10 mins and I still know what happened:mrgreen:. I'd still watch it though. I'm watching two and a half men
  15. I don't recall anyone resembling JR no
  16. I totally agree with you, I have vivid memories of some scenes from The Stand and IT, as they were so painstakingly described, the memories are almost like I was there.
  17. God knows which one it was I have all the ones I could find on record. It was one where a chef is murdered in a restaurant kitchen and then put through the meat grinder. Some of the one liners made me cringe and it just seemed to skim over the surface a bit to much and made it a bit to simplistic. Wasnt a bad show, i've seen worse.
  18. CSI First one i've ever seen the acting was more wooden than my desk
  19. I was literally having this exact thought this afternoon. I have about 40 books that are doing nothiing more than collecting dust that I have been thinking about giving away; either to my Library or to the local cancer charity that apparently collect donations on a regular basis from around my parents area. All I need is someone to carry them:mrgreen: I'm willing to let all mine go as I get my books these days from the library. Though now I think of it I will probably keep The Stand & The Millenium Trilogy books.
  20. Camilla who? Hardly Queen Latifah oohh there go the F16's
  21. I wonder if The Who will be on the field at halftime during the Carling Cup final today? Be prepared to be underwhelmed
  22. Can I just say how glad I am that I am not the only one that doesnt have a five course sunday roast lined up:mrgreen: A pie and frozen roast potatoes for me...oh the joy
  23. Very impressive Kel Any hidden gems on some obscure channel nobody ever watches tonight?
