Oh to be a writer... Being able to create something that may someday become a part of someone else, grow into a treasure that they hold dear to their hearts would be such an amazing way to spend a life, wouldn't it?

Believe it or not, I'm going through a similar work 'crisis' right now so you have my shoulder to cry on and my ears...er...eyes... to 'listen' if you ever want to vent. Are you in an area where there are some options for a career change? If you don't mind me asking, if you could chose your career what would you be doing?

Hey, Pixie. Hope you're doing well today
Sorry its taken me a couple days to respond, I've just been a bit out of it lately. I have read the gospels and do acknowledge them as great literary works. A few years ago I was very involved with the church and was actually planning on entering the convent. Probably a good 90% of the people in my life are from that very intense and involved group of religious. For the first time in a very long while I feel peace in my heart, but its hard to continuously feel unaccepted and looked down upon by the people who were once your closest confidons. In time it'll all work out, that I am confident about, but right now its a 'one day at a time' process.
How have you been doing this week? Sounds like work has been stressful.

In all honesty, I'm sick of struggling and feeling down because I don't want people to think of me as someone who's always sad and depressed, especially not on here.

Flowers for Algernon is one of my all time favorites
Charlie has to be one of the most complex and well written characters ever created. The story is so unique, there is no equal to it. Blech, work... Hopefully the time flies by tonight. My day is going well, thanks.

Ooh, can't wait to hear your thoughts on them. They are different, but the world Clare created is incredibly beautiful. She is in the process of writing more series set in it so hopefully (if you enjoy these) you'll have lots more to explore in the future! Thanks

It's a little coffee/wine bar with this round table full of bottles of wine on tap. You go up to the machine (its sort of like a vending machine) put your money into the slot and push the button for which wine you want. -
