  1. Haha! At least you don't have that problem of no knowing what book to read next.
  2. Could not have put it better myself!
  3. Just read this reading list and the reviews and I have now added The reformed Vampire Support Group and Carpe Demon to my Wishlist. Thans for the great reviews!
  4. My kids are going to watch Finding Nemo later. I think it is on channel five, right?
  5. I have actually never heard of this author before coming on here and I have heard a few mixed reviews. Reading your post has got me looking on amazon and sounds like a book I must read just to see what all the hype and the totally differing mixed reviews that has been recieved is all about. *edit* Just realised that he wrote the book for the film Fight club. I have not watched nor read Fight Club. Do you or anyone else know if this is the best book to start off with? Thanks in advance. CW.
  6. Thanks for that mate. I have a works in the city nearest to me but I never go there. But I am planning a big trip to Bristol again soon so I will take a look then. Thanks again.
  7. Haha. I saw the Trailer for it when I watched Eclispe. I will not be watching that for numerous reasons. One because I can't stand Tom Cruise. Also because the trailer like you said look Drivel and look terrible. I didn't thinka film could look so bad just watching a trailor!
  8. I keep forgetting to put the Morganville vampire series on my Wishlist. Whats the title of the first one I should read mate?
  9. I have Wack-a-day I have never been to Spain.
  10. Roast Pork for me today
  11. I have heard about predators and that looks like something I could watch. Looks like a film for men and women.
  12. Hey!

It does seem strange doesn't it. I have not got to the part of Will coming into this book yet, but can't wait. I love his character! But Lena is back and Sara is out for some ass-whipping! Good times. Please let me know what you think.

So how are you in general? You having a good 'summer' so far?

  13. Finished Skullduggery Pleasent. I will write my review later, and I am now starting Journey to the centre of the Earth. My oldest wants to read it with me, so it may take me a while and I might start another one and have two on the go!
  14. Have you watched the previous Twilights? If not then I would recommend watching the previous ones first. As for reading the books first. 'all about preferance. I personally always try as hard as I can to read the books before watching a film, but you don't have to espcially with Twilight. The amount of people who have watched the movies and not read the books.
  15. I read on the MSN homepage that the people behind the Breaking Dawn Movies are contemplating on whether to do it 3-D. However much I would love to see Edward's sparklies unclose and personal. I don't think I want it 3-D I have not watched a film in 3-D but last time I did at home (spy kids) it made my eyes hurt and I had enough of like someone else saidkeeping the glasses on.
  16. Last film I watched was fantastic four (The first one) with my oldest last night. It has Michael Chicklis (the guy from the Shield) so no complaints from me I also watched New Moon with my best mate. Oh how I love the end... mmmmm Sparkly stomach
  17. I have seen loads of tweets about Inception on twitter. I know nothing about this film. As for me well I have seen Eclipse. and I m seeing Toy story 3 with my kids next weekend.so as far as I know they are the only ones I am/ was dying to see. Oh my I forgot that I still have not seen the girl with the dragon tattoo. It willl be on my Xmas list this year!
  18. Hi and welcome to the Forum. Glad to see another crime fan. I am more into the mordern crime myself, but I do love Christie. Are you interested in Mordern crime suggestions?
  19. I have seen other in the city near I live and I want one bad. As for the kids summer book track. Thats the one. Did your kids do last years? My boys loved that one because it involved Drangons and Magicians:lol: As for reading. The kids have been little angels and as I have not been well I have sat on the couch reading the rest of Skulduggery. Still a great read and only 70 pages to go. Horray! Mojo is back!
  20. Hello you! what a lovely picture of you!

I got the new Karin Slaughter book last weekend. I have so many books to read that Ihave had to pospone reading it. read 70 pages and love it already.

    CW.

  21. This is a picture of the amazing David Bedella. The guy who plays Franknfurter in the UK Rocky Horor tour. Before that I had Robert Pattinson drinking a cup of coffee.
  22. Book #21: Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters - Rick Riodan You can't tell by looking at me that my dad is Poseidon, God of the Sea. It's not easy being a half-blood these days. You mortals can't even see the monsters we have to fight all the time. So when a game of dodgeball turned into a death match against an ugly gang of cannibal giants, I couldn't exactly ask my gym teacher for help. And that was just for starters. This is the one where Camp Half Blood is under attack, and unless I get my hands on the Golden Fleece, the whole camp will be invaded by monsters. Big ones. Can Percy survive the treacherous Sea of Monsters and restore order to Half-Blood Hill? Ok so this is the secons in the Percy Jackson series, and continues from where we left off in the first book. Percy has spent the summer trying to live a'normal' life until he goes back to Camp Half-Blood. I settle right back into the series, I really did enjoy it. You have the same characters, along with some new one. One new character I utterly adored and I hope he is able to come back for the next book. These is great for kids, and I have been reading them along with my son, after reading them myself. We love them so much that we have bought the first three of the collection and are looking to get the rest. 9/10
  23. Is that the Space Summer challange? My local library is not signing people up until Monday. Also I want one of those bags. Ihave seen a few people with them, I must ask if i can get them online as my library does nto stock them.
  24. Ok so I finished Percy Jackson and the sea of Monsters and I started Skullduggery Plesant. already 170 pages in and loving it. Great little read. I am going to be in hospital next week so I should get loads of reading done. My Library book club is Jasper Ffordes The Eyre Affair. Which is great because I had this on my TBR pile and have wanted to read it for a while.
  25. Sorry me talking to my kids at the same time.
