I agree with you completely! I read the whole series pretty quickly so a couple of weeks later I decided to read them again to see how they read once I knew the ending and I found myself skipping through huge sections of New Moon and Breaking Dawn. I found Edward's character to be intriguing in the first book but by the end he was really getting on my nerves! I thought he was a bit insipid and lacked substance! I loved the Harry Potter series. I thought it got better with each book (with the exception of that epilogue but I'd imagine a few people actually liked it ). I can read them over and over and definitely don't skip pages! I think it depends on the writer. In my opinion, JK Rowling is just a better writer than Stephanie Meyer. She can keep a story going whilst still captivating her audience with every page. I'm looking forward to the Lincoln Rhyme Series by Jeffrey Deaver and hope the rest of the books are as good as The Bone Collector.....we shall see!!

Ooooh one sitting.....let me cast my mind back. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - my Sister bought it for me at midnight when it went on sale and pushed it through my letter box without me knowing. I think it's possibly the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me It took all day but was so worth it! Twilight - I bought it as an impulse buy in HMV (it was by the till so I grabbed it) I started to read it on the way home and didn't really speak again until about 2am. I rushed out to buy the rest of the series the next day and my boyfriend lost me for about a week! Porno by Irvine Welsh - This was an ex-boyfriends book. I had nothing to do for the day so thought I'd see what it was like. The next thing I know it's 11pm and I'm reading the last page! It's such a good book!

He is really funny. He basically writes about the most ridiculous thing that's happened to him that week but add the fact that he's a man to that and it just takes to a whole new level of silly. It's also really good to read if you've got another book on the go as the articles are only a few pages long each so you can pick it up sporadically. You'll have to let me know what you think of it when you read it! Hope it's not too far down your tbr list.

I read Diary last year and that was good too!! As per usual, you expect one thing and get something you'd never expect in a million years!! haa!! I've not read survivor yet....any good?

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think the structure is very clever as you get an insight into how each person finds themselves in that situation. The thing I've noticed with all the Chuck Palaniuk books I've read is that they're all about people who either don't quite fit in/are lonely and the story explains how they go about interacting with others.

I think I cried for about a week after I saw that film.....and everytime I heard that song by Celine Dion (but that's because it was painful!!) I must admit I'm a bit of a softy when it comes to romantic movies. I still haven't quite got over The Notebook. I haven't seen Titanic in a while but I think if I watched it now I'd be wondering what all the fuss was about.

Oh that was an awful film! I haven't read any of the books (Interview with a Vampire is on my book shelves and calls to me to be read whenever I walk by) but I'd imagine it did the book no favours! The worst film I've ever seen is A History of Violence. I was just expecting a bit more and there's a really awkward sex scene near the end. I'm not a prude but I was embarrassed! Eeeek!

Yup....me too!! I've already pushed it to the back of my mind with every bad hair style I've ever had and Mick Hucknall!!

Read an article today on Glamour Magazine.com (very reliable source ) that Robert Pattinson has been annoying co-stars on his new set because his personal hygiene isn't too great. He even said himself that he forgets to wash etc!!! I'm hoping it's a lie!!

I'm sure I heard that JK Rowling had put some sort of copyright in place to stop anyone from using the Harry Potter characters. (I may be making this up of course!!) But wouldn't you think that after the massive success of Twilight, Stephanie Meyer would do the same??
