  1. I agree with everyones comments. The more I read the books, the more I find myself considering the age difference between Bella and Edward. Although he is in the body of a 17 year old, he has been alive for years. I know that they say that Bella is mature, but he has been alive for decades!! Am I making any sense? I guess that it is best not to think about it....
  2. I really enjoyed it! It was one of the only programmes that both me and my b/f enjoyed!! We watched it through Sky plus so we didn't have to sit through any adverts.
  3. I have read a Spot of Bother. It is a good read, but I personally didn't think that it was as good as a Curious Incident, but I still enjoyed it.
  4. We are having chinese tonight as the cupboards are empty
  5. Mine are: Twilight Eclipse New Moon Breaking Dawn
  6. Every one is dead? What is that all about?
  7. A tactile bookmark? You should market that!
  8. In the first episode, I thought that he was a loveable rogue. After watching the second episode, I came to the conclusion that he is just plain evil!
  9. I am definately looking forward to reading this!! I really like Clay and Jeremy as characters so I can't wait to learn more about them.
  10. Reading your review has really made me want to re-read Watership Down. I enjoyed both the book and the film and I also cried when reading and watching!
  11. As soon as Alan said "It's you", I knew who it was! I really enjoyed this weeks episode.
  12. We were having mash, but I let them boil dry and burn because I was reading my book. Oops!
  13. lol. Me too! I actually didn't read that bit when I re-read the book.
  14. I have just watched the first two episodes. They were awesome! Freddy is a really horrible guy. I have never read the book, but think that I might now.
  15. I agree with what Inver said. I didn't like
  16. Poor Rob! There is a social group for off topic stuff if you ever need it.
  17. I like Paige, but sometimes I wanted her to be a bit more feisty!! Elena had a lot of passion.
  18. They were okay for the first couple of reads and then I had to read them over and over and over again so got a bit fed up
  19. So far, Bitten and Stolen are my favourites (although I have only read 4). I liked Dime Store Magic and Industrial Magic, but I like Elena more as a lead character.
  20. We did Seamus Heaney too, maybe for GCSE? We also read 6 Women Poets.
  21. I am a bit scared (for want of a better word) of poetry I think. When I was in school, you are forced to read it which I think takes the enjoyment out of it. In school I found that I had to look for a deeper meaning instead of just enjoying it. I also felt like this about books too. When I reached sixth and studied English Lit, we looked at Wilfred Owen which I enjoyed. I found his writing style easy to understand and it didn't intimdate me at all. I'm waffling now, so I'll stop
  22. I have just finished Industrial Magic and I am about to move on to Haunted. Which is your favourite book so far?
  23. It's always nice to welcome another Twilight fan to the forum I am interested to see that New Moon is your favourite, it is third on my list (Twilight, Eclipse, New Moon & Breaking Dawn). Initially I didn't like Kristen as Bella as although she looked the part, I didn't like the way that she delivered her lines. Although now, the more and more I watch, the more I like her.
  24. I loved this too, I fancied Jared Leto so much!
  25. Funny you should mention that! When I was in Borders on the weekend, I picked up Mirror Mirror and almost got to the till before I changed my mind and put it back. I really enjoyed Wicked, but I wasn't sure how much further he could take it. I probably won't buy it new, but may request it from one of the book swapping sites. I am still trying to think of sutable holiday reading to take with me, decisons decisions!!
