  1. I borrowed The Eyre Affair fro my Mum after reading a fanfiction based Jasper Fforde's books on another forum. If I hadn't broken my leg and been stuck at home I probably would never have read it but I had run out of my own unread books. I guess that's a silver lining!
  2. it is a handy skill, there are a few I picked up too, like the cheapest place to buy milk, and to buy from butchers instead of supermarket meat is cheaper and nicer
  3. Too true! I must admit I never bought them as a student, but then I didn't tend to eat typically student food as a student
  4. I wasn't mocking, but they are very studenty, doesn't mean they're not nice too
  5. that's such a student meal
  6. I'm really addicted to Wispas right now, yummy!
  7. She had a cold so couldn't go rafting. I'm guessing she was at Tye's when Karl and Susan got the phone call
  8. I guess it's worth a watch if you don't try and take it seriously
  9. Yes I'm glad the real Libby is back. Yeah I would rather nobody dies but if anyone does I would want it to be Zeeke
  10. It's Monday so salad, cold meat, indian snacks, new potatoes
  11. He did turn out pretty awesome
  12. Oh yes that was a cliff hanger! Am watching today's right now...I'd rather Zeek dies that Bridget me thinks, I don't think they'll kill her off anyway too much story there
  13. I'm a Luna fan myself, they changed her a bit in the films but I thought they did quite well with her I still liked movieluna
  14. oh hard one! 1) Misty's Big Adventure 2) The Beatles 3) The Zutons 4) The Killers 5) McFly But changes a lot, this is just currently
  15. I have read almost all of Jodi Piccoult's books that have been released over here (Handle with care hasn't yet as far as I am aware) except for Songs of the Humpback Whale which is only avaliable in hardback. I'm looking forward to reading Handle with Care though, I have osteoporosis which is fairly similar to brittle bone disease so I'll be interested to see what Jodi Piccoult makes of it
  16. I'm more of a Crunchy Nut girl myself, have given up sugary cereals for Lent though so haven't had any for a while
  17. I just remembered Red Eye, that was an awful movie, barely had a plot and included a guy chasing a girl around a house with a pen stuck in his neck. Was quite funny though, just because it was so bad
  18. Hia to BCF. What types of books do you like?
  19. Wow Kylie that really is a lot of books, some great ones on there as well.
  20. Haven't actually seen that many bad films...probably the worst was Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights basically the plot of Dirty Dancing with all the best bits taken out, and a bad attempt at being gritty!
  21. I still haven't taken a picture of mine...mainly because my books are spread out over 3 bookcases (one I share with my little sister, one with my older sister, and one I think everyone in the house has some space in!) and err...4...shelves
  22. I think I have read An Absolute Scandal, I've read a few Penny Vincenzi anyway and generally enjoy them, she's a pretty easy read, I find her to almost be chick lit. style but a bit more thought provoking.
  23. And they made Dementors fly! Dementors don't fly! I actually bought a copy of order of the pheonix on DVD because I remembered it being better than it was, possibly because Luna was actually good and I had been ready for a let down, when I watched it again though I regretted spending the money
  24. I always start with the synopsis. Then put my general thoughts and end with a score out of 10. I don't really think about what I write, just write what comes to mind
  25. This sounds like the sort of book I'd like from your review...I think I shall add it to my wishlist
