  1. I made vegetable lasagna for the family tonight, I have missed cooking. Oh and beans on toast is awesome especially with cheese I actually want some now even though I only finished dinner 15 mins ago!
  2. When it comes to charity shops British Heart Foundation shops tend to use stickers if the writing really bothers you, but of course with your velvet, Bookjumper, that would just be an extra sticky mark!
  3. oh I agree with The Da Vinci Code, it's entertaining enough but by no means a great book, and not well written
  4. I had it on the lower end of my wishlist for years, because I wasn't that sure about it, then saw it in poundland the other day and bought it cause, well, it was only a pound. I guess it won't matter if I don't like it when it cost so little though
  5. I liked Tenth Circle, it wasn't her best but I did enjoy it. I wasn't impressed with Second Glance (the one about the Native Americans) though or Mercy. I hop I will like Humpback but it wasn't in print for a while and has just been re-released which kinda suggests it wasn't popular first time
  6. People who shout when they find out I have hearing aids...they're there so you don't have to shout.
  7. I don't blame you at all, you can't call someone a quitter based on 4 books, especially when it's on a thread about books people didn't enjoy!
