  1. Hia, to the forum
  2. I would either get rid of zeke or make him go back to how he used to be, and I'd get rid of Donna's family. Donna can be annoying but they're pretty much unbearable. Oh and Callum he annoys me too
  3. Oh yes it was worth it, part of the reason I couldn't stop myself reading it before bed!
  4. Sometimes, I can't really tell you a specific dream but I kept getting weird/scary dreams when I was reading The Historian, I told myself I should stop reading it before bed but I couldn't stop myself
  5. Roast dinner as it's Sunday, don't actually know what meat we're having though
  6. I just remembered Music and Lyrics, that's a great film
  7. Have you read Chocolat? It's one of my favourite books and IMO the film is a bad adaption (although not a bad film when not compared to the book)
  8. Thanks, it's by the same artist as Lexie's :)

  9. I like Four Weddings and a Funeral but it would be so much better if Andi McDowel wasn't so wooden
  10. In no particular order Romeo + Juliet (the Baz Lurhman version) Moulin Rouge Love Actually Slumdog Millionaire Donnie Darko
  11. Yeah Zeke is annoying me too...so many of the younger characters are annoying when I think about it. The Harold ending reminded me a bit of when Helen died, with all the looking back, it's only the second time I can recall seeing someone leaving in that way
  12. at least I won't be short on ideas!
  13. I should really stop looking at your thread, my wishlist grows every time!
  14. hmm I can see her point. I guess it depends on how important it is for you to be able to get into the book quickly, if it's important then that would for you make a book overated. I guess it depends on why after a short time you dismiss it, if it's just because you find it is slow starting then it's probably best to persever but if you don't like the writing style, or hate a character- something that probably won't change further into the book you won't want to keep reading it and not enjoying it
  15. yay! Now I think of it that does sound like Mr Darcy
  16. I will. I'm probably going to read The Jane Austen Bookclub next, I liked the film and it doesn't seem like it will be a hard read so will be good after Hunchback
  17. Has to be Jane Austen then, Pride and Prejudice?
  18. Hia Sadya, to the forum
  19. Yesterday borrowed: The Jane Austen book club- Karen Joy Fowler The Chocolate Run- Dorothy Koomson The Goddess Guide- Gisile Scalon Collin's How to do Everything from a friend. The second two are more flicking books that books to read all the way though so won't review those, but from flicking through The Goddess Guide it looks pretty awesome, although all the places she recommends are in London or New York and most of the stuff she recommends in out of my price range. Still there are good tips. Today Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs came from Bookmooch
  20. I was thinking it might be Jasper Fforde
  21. I used to volunteer at the BHF meant I got 25% off too which was awesome!
  22. wooo! Double bill
