Maybe they are fitted with a little light fixture, but are discreetly tucked away when not in use. I mean, clearly it is daytime in this picture, so you wouldn't use the little (or large) lights until sunset.
The only other alternatives are photoshop or clenching!
OMG! I just spat Cherry Garcia frozen yogurt everywhere at the thought of light fixtures

Uh huh, of course you did hun

The best game to play of the three is "How many people can you get in one shot?", seriously, in some episodes it gets as high as seven or eight people!
We've done a Buffy version of this - worked a treat

Well, I just decided to bankrupt myself and asked my uncle in Australia to buy any dvd's/cd's that he might come across! Okay, I might have actually said you have to go into the city a.s.a.p. and buy plenty of Tim goodness for me

They are both great! I'm thinking I'm going to have to reread a few myself

He's on the Chris Moyles show on Radio 1 this morning...........now!
I'm just listening to him now on iPlayer

He makes no sense in real life? I must admit I don't know much about him.
I follow him on Twitter - the man is crazy
I like the sound of those games - especially the "Will Worf say anything this episode?" one, might have to give that a try!
Have just reserved Season 1 of TNG so I can start from the beginning again

Brent is lovely - he often makes no sense in real life but as Data he is pure genius

Wow, another thread I never knew about! Great to see other Sci-Fi fans - will read the thread when I'm more awake than I am now!
Huge fan of Star Trek, TNG, DS9, Voyager and just started watching Enterprise. I also love Stargate and am
that I'm missing Robert Carlyle in Stargate Universe!

Oh good grief!!
At least it would have built-in bookends!

Great review of Sunshine
I've read it twice too and it's become one of my favourite books, I'm a huge fan of Robin McKinley anyway!

Definitely Something Rotten if you've read the others in the series and if not then get The Children's Book and The 19th Wife :eek2:

Ours is cooking away as I write - nut burgers with roast potatoes, roasted red onion, carrots and cauliflower with onion gravy :eek2:
Oooh, can I come round for dinner? That sounds delicious
Squash & sage risotto again for me!

Wallander - having seen & loved the original Swedish version I wanted to see how the English version with Kenneth Branagh measured up and I hated it, thought it was awful!

Have you seen this edition of 'Pride and Prejudice'?
It's beautiful .. and though I don't like hardbacks I am a sucker for beautifully illustrated cloth bound books.
I've got this edition of P&P along with Emma and also the copy of Wuthering Heights that they do - also very tempted to get Jane Eyre too! They're stunning hardbacks and the fabric covers are really beautiful and most importantly, well bound

Great review! It makes me want to go back & read more of Banks' work - I haven't looked at anything of his since reading Crow Road or studying Wasp Factory at uni

Has anyone pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk before? I'm basically wondering about when the book is sent, is it sent to arrive on the release date, or is it sent out on the release date?
I do it all the time! It varies with each book, a few come early but most come within a couple of days of the given date. The new Terry Pratchett was due out this week but I got my copy last week, just trying to think of other examples - I preordered the new Juliet Marillier which was due October 2nd but I got it on September 24th, the new Rachel Allen cookbook I got the day it was due out and the New Moon Film Guide came the day before it was due

I just read the vampire books in the order they were published.
1. Interview with the Vampire (1976)
2. The Vampire Lestat (1985)
3. The Queen of the Damned (1988)
4. The Tale of the Body Thief (1992)
5. Memnoch the Devil (1995)
6. The Vampire Armand (1998)
7. Merrick (2000)
8. Blood and Gold (2001)
9. Blackwood Farm (2002)
10. Blood Canticle (2003)
Servant Of The Bones & The Mummy are indiviual novels and nothing to do with the vampire books. Personally I loved the Mayfair books and I've reread them more - hope that helps!
