  1. I included Sir Terry in my 3 titles for this list, Ms Rowling didn't even cross my mind when it came to choosing
  2. Isn't that why a lot of people are either Team Edward or Team Jacob anyway? Because they themselves want to be with the character??? If that's the case I'm Team Jasper And my last comment on this but Bella does not lead him on that much, and Jake is making promises he can't keep because once he imprints - bam, Bella's going to be dropped like a hot potato! This is all in the absence of
  3. Which is why you're not a Twi-troll, because you know it's idiotic to be Team Jacob
  4. Now that the library have taken note of my "housebound" issues I no longer have to pay reservation fees so I'm changing my vote from occasionally to regularly Mind you, if they reinstate said
  5. Arrr my lovely, ye aren't a Twi-troll, ye are a Jake lover And that's worse
  6. But remember, Edward loved her as she was and didn't want her to be changed -
  7. Kelley Armstrong & Charlaine Harris both started their series in 2001, Kim Harrison didn't start the Rachel Morgan books until 2004. I quite liked the first few books but lost interest after as he was my favourite character
  8. You do realise that Midnight Mayor has already been published??? It came out a week ago
  9. It'll be the might of Summit that made that really smart decision Oooh, unless the UK is going to get a proper premiere for Eclipse, unlike NM when they did some fan Q & A session instead after the film had been screened. Which means, they need to give our English boy time to fly home
  10. I got - The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay - Michael Chabon Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress - Dai Sijie Cousin Bette - Honor'e de Balzac Fortress of Solitude - Jonathan Lethem The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand I thought I had Kavalier & Clay but apparently I gave it to my mum who in turn gave it to a friend and never got it back! Oh, and I "borrowed" The Red Tent by Anita Diamant from my mum too
  11. If you check IMDB, the UK release date is stated as July 9th. Linky - http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt1325004/ And it states July 9th on Summit's official website too. Linky - http://www.summit-ent.com/ June 30th is only the US/Canada, Mexico and bizarrely, Spain & Italy. Australia gets it July 1st, France July 7th, Germany July 15th.
  12. I went through my pile of newly acquired books earlier and I have indeed picked up quite a few of the Rory titles that I was missing! That of course means, hopefully, I'll be able to get through quite a good portion of the Rory list without needing to buy any more books for a while My bank manager is already thanking me
  13. Too Poor For Posh School
  14. Ummm, no? Yes? I need to update my Rory list as I think I might have picked up a few more titles without realising they were on the list
  15. Love it! See, that's how I think of Taylor Lautner as Jake
  16. But she did meet Edward, and sooner or later Jake would have met someone that he imprinted on. That would happen because the shifter gene was triggered by the Cullens moving there and so that part of his makeup couldn't be avoided. Where would Bella be then?
  17. You have to think of another threat than that one!!! It's a thumbs up from me too, I'm sure there will be more footage "leaked" soon enough - I want to see Jasper
  18. Yeah, get over it Jacob I always thought Team Jacob was a bit pointless, because everyone knows who she ends up with so it's kind of redundant really...
  19. I'm sure Taylor is a nice enough boy but ugh, his voice drives me nuts! I just can't like him and it's not just the Twilight films, I wouldn't/won't go & see anything else with him in it. And oh yes, the tent scene where he manipulates the situation yet again... Does he not remember this line??? "It's Edward, Jake, it's always been him." Paraphrased 'cause I'm too lazy to quote properly
  20. Not enough exclamation marks there peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've now watched it 4 times, not sure I'm patient enough to wait for July - darn you Summit
  21. I shall be going to see it by myself I did ask my sister if she wanted to go with me again and she responded with "I'm a mother now, I don't have time to waste watching films"
  22. I'll be offline for that week I think, I don't want to read any reviews - professional or otherwise - before I go. And - sorry Noll, I know you like Jake - but Taylor Lautner's voice appears to be even more whiny in this film
  23. Thanks Noll! That's all I seem to be saying to you today
  24. It's July 9th for us
