  1. Haha yeah i noticed xD I've read Dracula before, but recently been sidetracked by other things, i finished Stephen King's 'Dark Tower' series again :D

  2. The background on this page is awesome :D Glad things are going well, argh busy busy. I've been well thanks, made some more progress on reading and some work, not as much as i'd like though! I have read one of Koontz's and thought it was pretty good, i have a Lovecraft book too, looking forward to that. I hope you can get some reading done soon :D

  3. Yay you should definitely hang around, even if you are going through a busy time, you can drop by whenever ^^
  4. Uh oh It is great though it has a talking polar bear, where can you go wrong with that?
  5. I'm always willing to read the series however many times
  6. Yay 'Northern Lights' is one of my favourite ever novels.
  7. How are things going? Have you been keeping well? ^^

  8. His Dark Materials should definitely be on your TBR list, they are brilliant and pretty layered books
  9. If you write something or put any form of art out there, people will discuss it, interpret it, criticize it, love it, hate it, whatever - the fact that people take an interest in the author's work probably makes them happy.
  10. I was the same, and am the same, about things people recommend or anything that is hyped up, i tend to find things out or try things in my own time etc so when i asked a friend about Harry Potter in like 2002 and he said it was brilliant, i was a little sceptical, but i tried it and grudgingly found it great I don't think they get 'better' as it goes along, it certainly gets more complex, but i find the earlier books perhaps more enjoyable than the later ones, maybe i just like how charming the first couple are in a lot of places. I would definitely recommend continuing and taking them for what they are and not that they're 'Harry Potter' books if that makes sense, i'm not sure. It's a fantastic series of books though. I agree about His Dark Materials, those books are great
  11. I would love to read about Lockhart and his smug ramblings also, that guy cracks me up. Brilliant character, in fact all of the Dark Arts teachers are great, always thought Quirrel was a weirdo though, kinda figures
  12. I had chicken pieces with cheese in pastry, broccoli, potato smilies and gravy
  13. Read Eragon and found it quite charming, Paolini can write very fluently and vividly. Got about a quarter through Eldest and put it down as it didn't seem to be moving anywhere, i will probably give it another go sometime for sure though.
  14. I would actually pay
  15. Heeeeeeey! When did you stop by?? I hope your doing well :D

  16. That would be interesting i think, reading about Hogwarts in the different ages and generations, i was always intrigued when there were the old 'memories' which we got to see.

    Your sports

I used to play football, badminton, cricket and some athletics very often. I am quite active with exercise and such, i do a lot of running too. I want to get into tennis properly in the next few years, would love to learn karate and wouldn't mind a game of football with my friends every now and then
