  2. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows - when certain characters 'leave' (hopes not to spoil anything lol), A Boy Called It, New Moon
  3. Gerard Butler's "irish" accent in P.S. I Love You - horrendous! I know he's a Scottish actor but come on!
  4. I can read on a bus but not in the car although if the bus is winding down rounds it does make me feel a bit sick lol
  5. Hi Ben! Hope you're ok! Just thought I'd say hi!

  6. Hi Dan! Ooh Bitten is getting good although I must say it's a pretty frisky read so far lol
  7. That's right ii! I find if I'm rushing I tend to miss a key unintentionally but then at work I do proof-read everything anyway but sometimes don't have time if I'm writing an email or posting on the forum.
  8. Hi there! Welcome to the forum!
  9. I'm a PA and went to College to train as a Legal Secretary, so my presentation i.e. spelling, grammer, punctuation, is essential to my job. Sometimes when I'm rushing to type though on the forum, I mis-judge my shift key (I'm a touch typist) and end up missing a capital letter when it's needed! But it does bother me in books or magazines when the spelling and grammer isn't correct and I'm constantly changing round my work colleagues' documents etc ha ha
  10. 1. I am double jointed in my toes and can make them click on demand. 2. I have lived at 7 addresses in 4 years (complete nomad!) 3. Ever since i had a laparoscopy on my stomach a few years ago and had to sleep with a pillow under my knee and stomach while lying on my side, I cannot sleep without having a pillow there now. Like supporting my stomach. 4. I have had two laparoscopy surgeries in 3 years. 5. I used to have pet rats.
  11. ooh I was wanting to read this and probably will still although, I'm all about the describing words to be honest. It helps me to use my imagination better if I can feel and understand things through the words. But I definitely think it's one of those 'books to read before you die' types if you know what I mean lol
  12. I've never heard about these books til this forum but it's on my 'to buy' list next month now!
  13. I really want to see this too it looks fantastic!

hi Dan welcome to the forum! I'm with you on the romance/action type books! I loved the Twilight saga also and hope to re-read them in a few months time I enjoyed them that much! I'm currently reading Bitten by Kelley Armstrong which is along similar lines
  15. I am finding the cadbury's ad with the kids' eyebrows very very freaky....I can't watch it before bedtime lol
  16. I very much want to read War and Peace, I picked it up in a book shop and put it back down again - it was a bit daunting lol but I think I'm going to buy it and attempt to read it after I've got through the 15 other books tbr it sounds like it is well worth reading
  17. absolutely amazing - I want a telescope, I'm fascinated with stars and the moon etc
  18. I have a TBR pile but I've no idea what's in there lol, I just buy books and then put them in my book case and will eventually get round to reading them. I'm not that organised ha ha
  19. Hi Nici thanks for the friend request :-) have added you x

  20. Well put about the writing style of the Twilight books. I personally loved both series of books for very different reasons. With HP I felt that I grew with the character and knew his every thought and feeling and when I got to the last book I was so deeply involved with the characters and loved them all - I think that's the sign of a brilliant writer. With Twilight series, it was the unusual love story that captivated me (i can't stand slushy frothy chick lit love stories lol) and that made me want to know so much about each character. There are flaws with the spelling and sometimes the grammer etc but I can forgive Meyer that as she wrote such a fabulous series
  21. A friend I met with for lunch yesterday has just bought it but after she mentioned it I was contemplating buying it myself. i would like to read before I see the film
