  2. Ohh that sounds curious, let me know how you enjoy it
  3. Although I have Salem Falls I've not read it yet, I bought a set of Anita Shreves books that were really cheap though and I can't wait to start Light On Snow
  4. I really like the hardback cover of Proust and the Squid, I've noticed it in Waterstones, what's the story about?
  5. I hate that they've changed the book cover styles here in the last few books, I have loads in the old covers and then the newer books in the new covers, it's annoying because I like them to look all the same
  6. I know what you mean Roxi, she seems good in this from the trailer
  7. Not sure if anyone's seen, but they've changed the cover to this now ~
  8. Hey Ceinwenn, I remembered that you were struggling with Andorra and came across two books set in Andorra so thought I'd drop by and let you know incase you still haven't found anything Andorra by Peter Cameron If You Dare by Kresley Cole Hope this helps!
  9. You should, maybe you'd like it more this time around
  10. I'm really enjoying it, but then again I've seen all the current seasons of the tv show and enjoyed that so it's pretty easy to like the books
  11. Oh that sucks
  12. Yup it's released in 2 weeks, and yes, most books are being turned into films, but I think it's just because it's easy to make a film from a story that's already there, rather than writing a script from scratch. A lot of old films are being remade too, it's kind of crazy that there's such a lack of originality.
  13. He could have jammed a bloody butcher knife through a cow's heart and into my linoleum. I was grateful he hadn't - what a mess - but why Barbie? Aside from the obvious fact that the doll reflected the body of his last kill, why tell me about it? Darkly Dreaming Dexter - Jeff Lindsay
  14. I'm really looking forward to My Sister's Keeper too, the trailer does look really good for that, and I think I agree that if I had not read the book, I doubt the trailer for TTW would make me go watch it at the cinema
  15. The Time Traveler's Wife movie poster and trailer has finally been released, it feels like I've been waiting for this film forever! Apparantly the release date for the USA & UK has been set for 14th August, so not that long to wait! You can watch the trailer here. Any thoughts?
  16. The bank for a loan to expand the house! I think they'd understand the need for a book room wont they?!
  17. Ohh that does sound really good, I shall add it to my wishlist, thank you
  18. I'm really enjoying it :D I love the way it's written and I can definitely see how you all love Dex so much! I will be getting stuck right back in as soon as BB finishes :D How are you enjoying Cause For Alarm (if you've started it yet)? :)

  19. I love vampires stories, would you recommend this Charm?
  20. Ooo I just read this one, hope you enjoy it Louise!
  21. Yay, hope you enjoy it! :D

  22. I have 139 atm, so much for reading through the pile I had at the beginning of the year...
  23. She's pretty unknown outside of America weirdly, but I've read most of her books and they are really great
  24. Dorothy was the live in gf, the vicar's wife came before that, but yeah I agree, she surely noticed something was going on But wasn't there a point where his mum and Dorothy threw everything in the back garden - smashing a lot of stuff in the process, being that she lived in a flat complex type thing, surely the neighbours would have heard or seen that? But I also think it's a case of not wanting to get involved with things that aren't your business, especially back then, I doubt it was very easy to contact social services and complain.
