  1. Me too
  2. I kinda feel sorry for Katie, I would hate to have to keep doing the trials like she has too
  3. Hmm, to be honest I mainly read just because I enjoy it, I find a comfort in reading and it helps me take my mind off the pain I'm often in, but of course when I am reading I do love trying to guess who the killer is
  4. Haha Michael did too, we always buy the same amount at the same time, and I still have a tub and 1/2 of the sorbet and the whole pot of phish food too, where as he has nothing I should get eating it really, but I've been more in the mood for warm deserts, I had a tin of the nutmeg and sultana rice pudding for lunch, it was lovely
  5. I love Kim, my BF thinks she's being fake and playing up to the cameras, but I think she's just funny with the way she calls everyone 'lovey' I'm not surprised at that Janet, I figured it would happen sooner rather than later. Charm, you know you want too!
  6. I finished Soul Eater, and as the library doesn't have the next 3 in just now, I'm going to come back to finish the series, so I'm starting Jodi Picoult - Songs Of The Humpback Whale.
  7. 1. Everyone back home calls me Kel rather than Kelly, and other than teachers at school, no one had ever called me Kelly until I met my boyfriend and his family, they all always call me Kelly, which was a bit weird and hard to get used to at first. 2. Going with the nickname theme, some of my boyfriends favourites are 'Chumpy' (meant in an affectionate way still I do hate it), 'Giggleberry' (once I start it's so hard to stop) and his most recent favourite is 'Smithins' (my surname is Smith). Yes I know he's a curious boy bless him. Other than that the only nicknames I have are Kelliwell, which my gran calls me, and Kellolio, which my best friend started calling me when we were about 15 lol. 3. When I was 17, I developed a disease of the bladder called Interstitial Cystitis, and it has completely changed my life. Still, at least I have an amazing knowledge of public toilets! 4. After a rather crappy family situation with my mum/step dad, I was raised by my grandparents from the age of 11. Sadly my gramps passed away, but I'm incredibly close to my gran, and consider her to be my surrogate mum, and she treats me like a daughter. 5. I love the lead up to christmas, the atmosphere and people's excitement, much more than the actual day itself, which I find to be pretty boring. I also much prefer xmas the way my family does it, and have struggled with spending xmas here with BF's family for the past 4 years.
  8. In the upper right-hand corner of the photo is a miniature airplane that looks as if it is flying right into my forehead. Jodi Picoult - Songs Of The Humpback Whale
  9. Me too and I also have some B&J passionfruit sorbet, very nice it is too

  11. Heya Mac, how are you? Saw that you're feeling poorly, so I hope you're feeling better soon! I'm okay thanks, getting ready for xmas and all that, so nothing exciting really! I love Belle too, she rocks! :D Take care x

  12. I definitely think they'd be suitable for her, they're really good little adventure stories
  13. Spirit Walker by Michelle Paver No. of pages: 275 Rating: 4/5 Series: Chronicles Of Ancient Darkness (Book 2) Synopsis: As the Moon of No Dark waxes large, the clans fall prey to a horrifying sickness. Fear stalks the Forest. No one knows the cause—and only Torak can find the cure. His quest takes him across the sea to the mysterious islands of the Seal Clan. Here, Torak battles an unseen menace and uncovers a betrayal that will change his life—forever. Review: When people from all the clans start falling sick, Torak goes of in search of a cure. After ending up on the Seal Clan island, he finds out about a lot of things that have been hidden from him, and fights to stop the sickness... This was a great continuation of the series, again jam packed with a great storyline and lots of action. I liked the fact that Torak had grown up a bit more in this book, and I was very pleased to see the return of my favourite characters from the first book. I liked the introduction of the Seal Clan and their ways which are so different to the Clans we read about in Wolf Brother. A really enjoyable series so far, and I'm eager to read more!
  14. I fancy a roast, so I think I may make one

  19. I've just finished the second Mac and they are really good, I'd def recommend them
  20. Wolf Brother by Michelle Paver No. of pages: 233 Rating: 4/5 Series: Chronicles Of Ancient Darkness (Book 1) Synopsis: 6,000 years in the past, twelve-year-old Torak and his guide, a wolf cub, set out on a dangerous journey to fulfill an oath the boy made to his dying father - to travel to the Mountain of the World Spirit seeking a way to destroy a demon-possessed bear that threatens all the clans. Review: With his father on his death bed, Torak promises him he'll go to the Mountain of the World Spirit for help with destroying the bear than killed him. But having never been alone before, the journey is a lot tougher than Torak imagines... This was a really enjoyable book, and I am definitely going to continue reading the series. Paver does an amazing job of taking you back to times when people wore animal pelts, and hunted with arrows, and even the language has been thoroughly thought out. The storyline itself keeps you interested with the twists the whole way through, and even though this is written for YA, this is definitely something that can be enjoyed by adults. I would definitely recommend it!
  21. Well I hope you love it! Hmm, I'm not sure if I'm honest, I just think it was a case of a film that didn't click with me? The acting was all very good though, Zooey was fab as always!
  22. 500 Days Of Summer, not very good imo :/
  23. The Secret Scripture! Pretty much only because I want to read it soon and I'd be interested to see what you think
