  1. When it was all over, DI Jack Caffery, South London Area Major Investigation Team (AMIT), would admit that, of all the things he had witnessed in Brixton that cloudy July evening, it was the crows that jarred him the most. Mo Hayder - The Treatment
  2. Yeah completely, I wasn't sure why she was like that, when there was no reason to be!
  3. cr*p, i didn't use a bad swear word, honestly!

  4. Not morbid at all! I was actually wanting a memorial tattoo for my granddad who raised me along with my gran, and he passed away 7 years ago this summer, still seems like yesterday! And I actually really like the idea of angel wings, I have a huge thing about wings of all types  and I do love your newest tattoo, it's beautiful! I'm mostly worried about someone doing something ****, because obviously it's so permanent.

  5. Ohh thanks for that Paula :friends0::D

And I'm doing well thank you, yourself?

I was looking through your tattoos last night, they're awesome! I want one myself, but I'm a bit worried about the pain  plus my BF hates them with a passion and doesn't want me to get one  Did your hurt very much?

  6. Have to agree with you a little on this one, I wasn't as impressed with it as others on here seem to be, and I thought the ending was pretty obvious, although I was surprised by one or two things
  7. I have my TBR books in two rows on a book shelf, I've put the books I least want to read on the back row and the ones I'm more interested in the front row, so it's always something I really want to read, and it's usually the newer books if I'm honest, but I am determined to get through that pile this year, however it wont be anytime soon with my birthday coming up
  8. No Time For Goodbye by Linwood Barclay No. of pages: 437 Rating: 3/5 Synopsis: The house was deathly quiet. That was the first sign that something was terribly wrong. Fourteen-year-old Cynthia Bigge woke that morning to find herself alone. Her family—mother, father, and brother—had vanished without a word, without a note, without a trace. Twenty-five years later, Cynthia is still looking for answers. Now she is about to learn the devastating truth. Review: I feel quite torn about this book, the plot in itself was a great idea, but as much as I wanted to like it, I felt that the first half of the book dragged. The ending was great, action packed and thrilling like promised, a tad predictable in parts, but there were a few things that I didn't see coming that were played out very well. As for characters, my favourite was Terry, I thought he was well developed and he wasn't perfect, which makes him all the more believable. The reason I've given this a 3/5 is because I think the book is just okay, and not great or amazing. I think it's worth a read, but it's one of those books that once read, it's never picked up again, at least for me.
  9. No it wouldn't get to her, when Breaking Dawn was released her myspace page was monitored and only good comments were allowed through, so she obviously has people that sift through it all
  10. Will do, and yay, you're reading it! What do you think?
  11. We had sweet and sour chicken with rice, it was lovely
  12. Probably my Alias or Grey's Anatomy series, couldn't choose a specific film, I have around 200 on DVD, so have one to match all moods
  13. When Cynthia woke up, it was so quiet in the house she thought it must be Saturday. No Time For Goodbye - Linwood Barclay
  14. That's lovely Karen, I have a STEPS one (yes as in steps the band ) that I cross-stitched at school when I was 12 I still have it in a box somewhere
  15. I have already said this in the twilight forum section on here, but I can't see how it's anyone's fault but her own, she's the one who gave loads of copies of it out, it was bound to leak, so I think she should just stop punishing the fans, after all we didn't leak it, it was someone she's close too, maybe she should keep that in mind, after all it's us that spend our money on it and it goes into her pocket, she should be more blo*dy grateful
  16. Yeah I come from Bath and get the same thing
  17. Thanks for that Paula, I'll have to try and remember, I have a terrible memory! And I'm okay thanks, neither me or my BF are well today, so I'm looking after him! How are you doing? And I saw you're shooting through your books! Any you'd recommend? Take care, Kelly xox

  18. I thought this was a very curious view of heaven, you meet 5 people who explain to you the meaning of certain things that happen in your life. Eddie's journey after his death is very sad, he learns about things he never knew about in his human life, but were pivital in what happened. As well as following his journey through heaven to the 5 people, you're also told about Eddie's past birthdays and also told a little about various years of his life. I thought it was well written, I liked the way it was telling 3 threads of a story yet didn't feel like it was jumping. It was a very easy read and although not one of the best books I've ever read, it was certainly very enjoyable.
  19. I come from 'down south' and my BF tells me I sound like a farmer, and whilst I may a little, I don't think it's really that bad/noticeable (atleast I hope!)
  20. ! I'm sorry I shouldn't really laugh I'm a pretty good cook, both in just ovening something and with making something from scratch, if anything I prefer from scratch
  21. I really enjoy YA books and yeah I agree, Before I Die and Speak are both great reads
  22. Yes, I'd not really say this is a horror
  23. I thought this was a great book, and the title does say Marley & Me, so I thought it only obvious it would be about the family too, and not only that, they can only describe some of his behaviour by giving the background info
  24. Spicy chicken burgers and salad tonight
