  1. Muggle those photos are so sweet Rawr I really like that last one you posted
  2. Getting more and more into The Last Dickens
  3. New Moon is easily my favourite now, though Eclipse is an easy read so I actually skim Twilight, skim the end of New Moon (Italy), and skim post-page-400 of Breaking Dawn, but read the rest thoroughly
  4. I've started The Last Dickens by Matthew Pearl and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! This bodes well for my return to his other book.
  5. Oh I absolutely hate Talk about a forced ending. I just re-read New Moon, Eclipse, and 400 pages of Breaking Dawn. Loved all of that. Then had to stop because I can't stand the end.
  6. It's only important up to the end of Jacob's section. Having 'and then the sun exploded and everybody died' as an ending would be better than what they did.
  7. You can have your ice cold marble statue. I'm pretty sure Jacob can provide all of your conditions, minus the sparkles which I don't want, PLUS SOME SERIOUS BODY HEAT If he can lift motorbikes, he can break a bed
  8. Jacob keeps pointing out that he's the best suitor for Bella and that she's in love with him too. What happens at the end of Eclipse? Oh yeah. She admits that and actually, so does Edward. Give me a woody smell, a hand carved wolf and anyday.
  9. Um. Edward sparkles. Like, glitters. And thinks this is scary. 'This is the skin of a killer, Bella', quoth I he. He sat in Bella's room for like two months watching her sleep before she found out. He has had 109 years to come to terms with being a vampire, and he still hasn't. Vampires are materialistic, and buy houses and cars like they're going out of style. Jacob is a 16 year old kid who does not sparkle, and deals with being a werewolf in less than a month, during which time he still uses his ability to protect Bella, without her ever knowing. As a werewolf, he is potentially very scary. He's a mechanic - he builds things himself with his own hands. Where Edward gets priceless diamonds on Bella's wrist, Jacob gets a hand-carved miniature wolf. Both Jacob AND Edward admit that in a world without vampires, Jacob is clearly the obvious choice for Bella. In short, Jacob is more down to earth, grounded, mature kid and at only 16, he's 93 years younger than Edward, and since he's clearly more mature, he's clearly streets ahead.
  10. Chicken sandwich. Simple but effective.
  11. As I said earlier: This IS the place to go insane with this stuff, so it doesn't start leaking too much into other threads, like it did in the Avatar thread.
  12. I'm only 22! I'm a barely-grown woman, I have more excuse. And I have the mental age of a 16 year old Yeah Weave, where did you get those autographs? I meant to ask but this thread is moving verrrry rapidly!
  13. Thank you (and Peacefield) I want both! Shirted and shirtless! Jasper is quite good too (he's in a new set with Sparkling Edward and the Shirtless Jacob.) I also love all you girls for being as Twi-crazy as me. I love being a fangirl!
  14. Want. MUST HAVE.
  15. Awwwww look at em <3 Jake.
  16. Mod Note: Insane as it may be, no anti-Twilight stuff here please. Can't play nice? Don't click the thread. Now for some deranged fangirlism: PEACEFIELD I WANT A FUN SIZE JACOB Where can I get one????
  17. I'm watching Taylor Lautner do backflips. Or rather, the one backflip, over and over. ^_________^
  18. Tee hee, thank you Peacefield! I totally need a Fun Size Jacob. Man. What's your group, The Adventures Of Fun Size Edward For The Over 30's? I'd make a group called The Adventures Of Fun Size Jacob For The Under 30's
  19. Oh I know, I was only kidding coz I'm jealous everyone has Jake merch! Also, those Jasper t-shirts are nothing short of amazing! 'Jasper laughs at your mood ring!' Bahahaha!! <3 Oh I love the entire Twilight fandom.
  20. I'm pretty sure I would crack up laughing any time I drank out of that Yum! How come they were giving them away?!?! I didn't go on any opening nights but they never do things like that here. And if they did, I wouldn't be lucky enough to get Jacob, I'd end up having fisticuffs with the distributor - "I want JACOB!!" etc. I'm such a child. You should probably keep it though, it might be worth something? Or if you find out it's worth something, I'll buy it from you On the child note - I love the stickers Nici! I was an avid sticker collector as a kid - Pokemon, Lion King, even The Golden Compass a few years back and I didn't even like the movie!
  21. Why is everyone dissing the Jacob merch? I'd LOVE Jacob merch and I got none. Hmph. I'm debating going to see this movie a third time.
  22. In fairness, I couldn't get into The Dante Club, but I am going to give it another go. Peacefield swears by him though.
  23. I buy in that shop a lot because it's for a good cause, books are never more than €3.50, and as low as €1 if in poor condition - I usually only buy reading copies or books I'm indifferent to, but this particular book is pristine. It looks unread, and it still had it's Eason's "€12.99" price tag on it above the €2.50 tag. So I'm saving a tenner for absolutely nothing really. And it's stunning. Hang on, I'll show you http://www.crimetime.co.uk/images/large/9781846550843.jpg
  24. I bought The Last Dickens by Matthew Pearl solely on the basis that it's gorgeous and in perfect condition, and only cost €2.50 in the charity shop.
