An author I did a review for last year (Tom Weston) randomly sent me a lovely hardback copy of his newest book as thanks for the review last year from which he borrowed quotes for the dustjacket of this one. I'm rather pleased, as I really enjoyed his original novel and hopefully this one will be as good!

Walking With Dinosaurs... it's fun to see animated dinos ambling around but there seems to be a lot of creative licence in what they're doing... rather than saying, 'such and such MAY have done xyz', it's 'such and such DID xyz'.

I dont know much about archaeology specifically but I'm generally interested in historical things, anthropology (particularly Aztec and Mayan cultures), archaeoastronomy and paleontology (specifically dinosaurs, but also some other random animals). Mine is from Star Trek!! Episode: "Data's Day". Data records details about a typical day in his life, with a particular emphasis on his 'friendships'. It's a really good episode about his attempts to understand human emotion and interaction, and at the end of the episode he says what's in my signature.
