  1. From Macbeth I have been given, You do unbend your noble strength, to think So brainsickly of things.
  2. ... me, who chops it back down, burns it to charcoal, sketches a masterpiece and throws this to.....
  3. "Here's a map; 1) Library of all Books 2) Food Halls of all Foods 3) Countryside of your dreams 4) Temporary Change of Scenery Centre, to suit all moods. Enjoy. "
  4. I'm going to have to say, "I'm not sure I get this game". Sorry JCW, can you explain it again please? Cos despite re reading the first post a number of times I just feel that this is the only thing that will make it get into my brain.
  5. There was also mention made recently of the high quality of acting from the child actors in the 80's! I loved Doogie, but I adore Barney! The current GG series being shown in the UK is the last, and despite knowing where it will go I am on tenterhooks. Love this show!
  6. I like that too, it would not only cover aspects of me, but the phases of my life. Oooo, I will be thinking more on this.
  7. That is so lovely Kate. I love it! My current one is this one, entitled 'Where Smiles Are Born'. I adore Vladstudio designs, they make me feel all warm and fuzzy.
  8. Film : Angelina Jolie Tyne Daly TV: Julie Walters (although she is Hollywood too!)
  9. Go on, JCW really taunt me why don't you!
  10. But it's so sad! And you said 'Flash!' When I read your comment (off hand or not), I just thought how creepy that would be to have as a Boggart wobbly. Ugh!
  11. 'I'll Find My Way Home' Jon & Vangelis. (1981/2'sh) I can remember the words to this day!
  12. My goodness ~ wouldn't that be soooooooo interesting!
  13. Good point! I may have to do a re read of POA and remind myself of it all.
  14. Although I do agree that Ron would still fear spiders, and Neville (bless him) still has Snape issues, but I wondered if it would be different for Harry. His Patronus is strong, so he has a way of defeating Dementors, and didn't Remus Lupin comment on it being good that his fear was fear itself? Therefore, what I'm saying is after POA he wouldn't have the same issues with Dementors that he had, and wouldn't the real Voldy make an imitation Boggart one so insignificant as to make it almost amusing? Raven, I love your suggestion post DH. It sent a shiver through me remembering. Thanks for answering folks, I had/have a need to discuss it with fellow Potterites.
  15. That's what I thought B-C, but the fact that he didn't fear Voldy more than the Dementors when he was first introduced to the Boggart made me wonder if that would truly be the case, even as things develop through the series. Mmmm, I think this will take some more pondering.
  16. A question formed in my head as I was travelling on a ferry across the English Channel. (I was concentrating on NOT feeling unwell.). The question is this................ Harry's Boggart appeared as a Dementor to him in POA. Since he conquered his fear, and was able to conjure a Patronus what form would a Boggart take for him thereafter? I think it's a two parter really, as I would think that Boggart wise there is the time period between first meeting them with Remus Lupin and the books leading up to DH, and the time after his final battle with Oldy Moldy Voldy. Anyone think of anything for this?
  17. Hello Steve, welcome to the forum.
  18. It would also come with it's own brandy marinade!
  19. Maybe I should type out some random words from great works, print off a sheet and tear them up, and drop them around the place as literary 'breadcrumbs' that my mojo will be compelled to follow. What do you reckon? Did you ever see the Sprite drink ads? I always imagine my reading mojo as looking like this little fella
  20. STILL NONE. It's been bl**dy weeks now. I thought my reading mojo was creeping back, but not a chance of it. I'm close to tearing hair out now. Grrrrr , boo hoo .
