  1. I have just ordered 'Malevil'. Darn your recommendation!
  2. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun ~ Cyndi Lauper
  3. Racists talking to me as if I would have to agree with them. Example? A suggestion that the Tory's get together with the BNP to 'sort things out properly'. My jaw actually dropped, and all I could say was how it would be best for EVERYONE if the BNP were kept well away from any source of power. I hate other people sometimes.
  4. I've just started 'Alphabet' by Kathy Page, a new to me author. My brother knows the author, and wanted me to read this before I send it on to him. Fingers cross I will like it!
  5. *Is on knees and bowing down repeatedly* I am not worthy! You are my queen and hero!
  6. No they don't! (Says the tea drinker!) :)
  7. Ooh, exotic and mysterious location (well, at least in my mind it is). Have a fantastic time!
  8. I'd suggest taking historical fiction. The light fluffy stuff can be picked up cheaply at airports etc., so you can get your hands on some if required, and anything too heavy duty may clash with your holiday mood. Where are you heading for your holiday?
  9. It may not help me Sheeta, but I am impressed!
  10. I am tempted to make you prove this statement! I can't even pronounce it!
  11. Oh, bl**dy marvellous ~ that'll now be in my head for the next few days! ".........nobody here just you and me.........."
  12. BBC News Channel
  13. My husband, who has just returned from a work trip, has just presented me with a Romanian bookmark ~ I love it!
  14. My washing machine attempting to clean a filthy rug that may ir may not be machine washable. It sounds like a space shuttle taking off.
  15. I know that Lexiepiper has read it, you should find her review of it here. I think Jessi may have read it too.
  16. There's a thread here on this very book! I have the trilogy, but I haven't started it yet ~ it looks like it should be a good read though.
  17. I finished Lisa Gardner's 'The Neighbour'. Well written and gripping, with that "must read more" factor that a good book should have. I'm pondering what book to go for next ~ my TBR mountain is a little daunting so I will have to do my blinkered can't-see-just-how-many-there-are choose a book!
  18. If I read another gripping book after this one, I may have to invest in one!
  19. My wife has disappeared, my daughter's safety is threatened and my darkest secrets are being sought. I could be arrested at any point.
  20. Despite a break of a few weeks from it, I am ploughing my way through 'The Neighbour' by Lisa Gardner. I have hated having to break from it today to do stoopid things, such as walk the dog, go to loo and eat!
  21. Have I Got A Bit More Election News For You
  22. Sounds like an invite to me Inver!
  23. Puffin Books have produced a free guide that lists the 70 Best Children's Books, If you visit them here, you can download their guide, or it can be collected from participating UK libraries and bookshops.
