Example? A suggestion that the Tory's get together with the BNP to 'sort things out properly'. My jaw actually dropped, and all I could say was how it would be best for EVERYONE if the BNP were kept well away from any source of power.
I hate other people sometimes.
I've just started 'Alphabet' by Kathy Page, a new to me author. My brother knows the author, and wanted me to read this before I send it on to him. Fingers cross I will like it!
I'd suggest taking historical fiction.
The light fluffy stuff can be picked up cheaply at airports etc., so you can get your hands on some if required, and anything too heavy duty may clash with your holiday mood.

I finished Lisa Gardner's 'The Neighbour'. Well written and gripping, with that "must read more" factor that a good book should have.
I'm pondering what book to go for next ~ my TBR mountain is a little daunting so I will have to do my blinkered can't-see-just-how-many-there-are choose a book!
Despite a break of a few weeks from it, I am ploughing my way through 'The Neighbour' by Lisa Gardner. I have hated having to break from it today to do stoopid things, such as walk the dog, go to loo and eat!
