My resolution is simply to read more. I have a huge TBR pile and I constantly purchase new books. I want to get through at least 2 books a month

finished Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay a little while ago and loved it! I need to pick up the next book asap! in the meantime in reading She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. So far im enjoying it! And i recently bought Peony in Love by Lisa See

I recently purchased Dear John by Nicholas Sparks, She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb and Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay.
I read and finished Dear John in 2 nights. Cute story, a different take on a love story. I enjoyed it.
I started Darkly Dreaming Dexter last night. I am hooked! I love the show, but its neat to travel further into the mind of Dexter. Halfway through the book, I can't wait to finish it!

I've been reading Definitely Dead by Charlaine Harris today. Almost finished. I stopped in to Chapters today and picked up some books:

I picked up Almost Moon by Alice Sebold today. The hardback was in the sale section! only paid $10 for it
I love bargains. As for reading - Im still making my way through Dead as a Doornail. Loving it so far!

I added yet another book to my 'currently reading' pile. Started Dead as a Doornail today and already addicted! haha. So entertaining. But unfortunately for the other books, they're being ignored right now. School + no free time, makes it hard to read, but when I can find the time I want something super light to read.

My reading has come to a complete halt now that school has started. Instead i am stuck reading text books and course notes.
Im looking forward to thanksgiving break so I can get some pleasure reading done. -

Im STILL reading Special Topics in Calamity Physics. Im liking it but I'm having a hard time finding the time to read. Our group goal was to finish reading it before school started..but school starts next week and i highly doubt i'll be anywhere near finished hah. I want to get in another Sookie book before assignments and homework get too intense..but that all depends on this current book. *crosses fingers that I finish STCP soooon*

For full priced books i tend to pick up authors i know and love with the exception of books garnering rave reviews. But I always pick up random authors from the bargain section. Its a nice way to meet new authors and their style of writing without making a huge dent in your wallet

WOW. Many of you guys have more books in your TBR pile than my entire book collection! i feel so inferior with only 15 books in my TBR stack
feel LUCKY! hahaah.
I have 100+ books in my TBR pile, its depressing.
I am continually buying books. And at the rate in which I read them, it is going to take me FOREVER to ever get down to 15 on my TBR pile haha. My pile keeps growing and I am no where making a dent in it.

How do i arrange my books? random chaos! haha. I have very little shelf space right now so I try to fit as much as possible on it. When I do get more shelves, I'll probably organize by author. It's nice to have the same authors grouped together..easier to find books

I keep all books, whether I enjoyed them or not. Im slowly building my own library haha.
I hardly ever lend out my books. Im so protective of them. I will allow my closest friends to borrow them because I -know- they will treat them well.
As for the library, I haven't been in years. They never had what I was looking for.

I'm also waiting for Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. And just like Nicola, I usually never know when new books that would definitely interest me are being published. When I read Chelsea Cain's Heartsick and Sweetheart I was so engrossed in them that I had to google Cain so I'd know if there's any more of this series in the making. And fortunately there is! Evil at Heart is due in September. At least there's something good in autumn approaching this year...
Ive been hearing good reviews about Heartsick. I should check it out!

Apparantly they are making a tv series of these books with Anna Paquin as the lead. I need to start to read them before I get a picture of the characters in my head!
The series is in its second season. Its just as amazingly addictive as the books haha I love it

1984 is my favorite book! I had to read it in highschool, and I surprisingly loved it (even with all of the tedious work assigned with it) I love dystopian literature.
