  1. I got I Hope they Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max for easter!

I went shopping today and picked up:

Bro Code (if any of you watch How I Met Your Mother, this book is "written by" the character Barney Stinson) haha Im so excited for this!

I also got The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory and The Chronicles of Narnia, the entire collection in one book.

Im currently reading The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson, halfway through and loving it!

  2. I started reading Up in the Air by Walter Kirn. Only finished the first chapter and I'm not sure what to think of it. I'm leaning towards the 'not liking it so much' side lol but I'm thinking its because this book isn't as fast paced as the last book I read. Debating sticking with it or switching to another book..

  3. The third novel is Evil at Heart and it was published only last year. I totally agree with

what you said about Archie, in the first novel it seemed only like make-believe and then we find out it's been for real. Really shocking, I loved that twist and that's why I loved it more than the first book

I can't figure how she had the strength to go on. I'm just glad it wasn't a true story, thank goodness!

I read more of Helter Skelter last night and will be continuing it today, quite naturally

I agree, Sweetheart was definitely better than the first book!

I finished Push last night. Such a great novel! the subject matter was difficult, as well as the writing but i love books that evoke emotions! Precious is a tough girl! (I'm also glad it wasn't a true story) I highly recommend this book :D

  4. I'm really glad you enjoyed Sweetheart!

Weren't you surprised to discover that it was actually Archie who'd pursued the relationship and they'd actually had more than just a couple of nookies??

Do you think you're going to read the third novel in the series? I have to say it wasn't as good as the first two, but an okay read anyway.

I hope you enjoy Push!

I didn't know there was a third novel! haha I'll most likely read it, i hate leaving series' unfinished!

I was super shocked about his relationship with Gretchen. It the first book it just seemed like he fantasized about her and nothing more..but wow!

And i'm really reallly enjoying Push! Halfway through the book and I only started it late last night. That poor girl has been through so much, its such a sad book

  5.

Oooh, that's a good one! I hope you enjoy it :)

haha thanks! I heard its a tough read though, the topic matter is hard to get through. I really want to see the movie too, once I read the book.

Mom bought me -another- book today! oh the perks of being sick..she knows buying me books will make me happy :D She got me Up In The Air by Walter Kirn!

  6. So glad to hear you enjoyed it so much! I have to tell you though, that the third Dexter novel was quite disappointing in my opinion at least (some others have felt the same way) but that the fourth books is supposed to be another great Dexter read :censored:

thanks for letting me know! theres always a book in a series that doesn't quite live up to the others..sucks.

  7. I read the book a couple of weeks ago. Review is in my reading blog. I thought it was excellent and gave it 10/10 with the ending a real surprise. Can't wait to see the film when it comes out over here next week.

hey thanks! I am definitely going to have to pick it up now! The movie is great, I hope you enjoy it! :D
