  1. Bearnaise? Posh ketchup??? Of course not. It's some kind of herby sauce (take mayonnaise and add some herbs in it if you want get an idea though it's really a different thing). It might be french, I dont know. Anyway, it's waay better than ketshup but still covering all food in it might be too much
  2. I do that, except with b
  3. Hi Roxi!

That's great, thanks! I actually added yours to my bogroll as well yesterday :D

  4. Ok, five facts about me: 1- I do much worse than that (leave new notebooks untouched)... 2 - I get all inspired by a new little notebook, 3 - I draw up a whole plan of what I'll do with it, 4 - I ruin it by covering the first few pages in my bad handwriting... 5 - And then I leave it to a lonely abandoned life in some drawer or desk corner Better now? *laughs*
  5. Oh I do much worse than that... I get all inspired by a new little notebook, draw up a whole plan of what I'll do with it, ruin it by covering the first few pages in my bad handwriting... and then leave it to a lonely abandoned life in some drawer or desk corner
  6. You can't make someone read. Just like you can't make them fall in love, or dream... The Rights of the Reader - Daniel Pennac Who'd argue with that one on here?
  7. Oh yes, nice little notebooks always look so tempting! Though I never end up doing anything with them...
  8. Hi Michelle, thanks for the invite! How has your We been? I hope things will start getting better for you and Glen. Take care!

  9. Is it one of those rice cookers where you chuck rice and water and whatever acompaniments you like in and it cooks itself and automatically stops (or rather goes on a "keep warm" function) when there is no water left? If so mine needs just a little more than 1,5 volume of water for 1 volume of rice. Hope that helps, it's a great appliance once you get the hang of it!
  10. Steak and french fries tonight *drolls at the thought*
  11. Hello and welcome Jenn!
  12. Oh I read that one some years ago. cant remember the details but it was quite a fun read I think
  13. *cracks up* That brings up quite an image! Nif nif (yes, that was my rabbit's name, quite a sorry one I know!) used to scratch us every time we tried to get him back in his cage... He was one wild rabbit! lol

  14. *laughs* Pets are sensitive creatures aren't they? Better watch what we say around them!

  15. Hi Kookie! Thanks for adding me as a friend! I never welcomed you properly, did I? So here's a very late welcome for you! :smile2: How are you finding the forum?

    Your pets are absolutely gorgeous!

  16. Oh now you've both gotten me curious... I'm wishing you win the lotto just so we get to see it Anyway I could be let in on the secret? (there's no way I'm going to Dublin to steal the idea ). I'm looking for an idea of my own... Hopefully I'll get one in time for the 5th of march!
  17. Hi and welcome Peachess!
  18. I completely agree with you on this bethany! The book and film should be taken separately really, and they are both great in their own way Which is why you shouldn't be worried about seeing it The Library Nook... So long as you're not ooking for a mirror interpretation of the book you should love it
  19. Well it looks good! Probably not something I'd have chosen on my own but a good way of branching out Which is the aim of this challenge isn't it? Maybe you can use your new idea for the big book world day swap?
  20. Well as far as I know Donna Leon has only written that one series of crime novels set in Venice (or at least it's her 'masterpiece') and Death at la Fenice is the first... so the chances are slim! *laughs* Trust the luck of the draw to give my book to the person who's already read it (which I really dont think is the case of many on here)...
  21. Oh, thanks Kell! This looks great! I'm excited about my allocated book which apparently is by the author of the Horse whisperer... I hadn't read that but loved the film! Jo-Bridge, you said one of your favourite authors is Donna Leon though, didn't you? I guess I'll have to think of something else for you then...
  22. Oooh these are my favourites as well Enjoy the re-read!
  23. :balloons: Happy birthday Kylie, enjoy!
  24. Oh yes, watch out for the gray hair!

Yep, but mostly to enjoy the snow itself. I do love it!

  25. Chimera

Sounds like an ok life *laughs*

I'm Ok. Wishing we'd been snowed in like the UK though. That would have been fun! ;-)
