  1. Hi there, just finished Dead Simple! so thought I`d let you know what I thought. It was a pretty good read, a good plot, unexpected twists, I lost interest a short way through, but persevered and it turned into a real pageturner, very exciting.Worth reading, so enjoy it when you get to it.

  2. enjoy the forum. I think your English is very good.
  3. You seem to have described Brighton quite nicely," full of buzz?" that`s putting it mildly! I live out of the town, in Woodingdean, much quieter, work here too, so luckily don`t need to face the madness of the town too often! I don`t know Littlehampton that well, used to bring the children there for a day at the beach, so much better than the stoney beaches here, but it was always windy & chilly! that seems a long time ago, they`re all grown up now & I have 2 granchildren. How many granchildren do you have? Take care

  4. I think you`re probably right (can`t think of an example yet, it`s too early!) but I know someone who keeps a notebook and pen handy while she reads, so she can write down any phrases or descriptions she finds especially beautiful or moving or that stand out as being extra special.
  5. That`s really lovely Knitnat, obviously a girl who knows what she wants!
  6. Lasagne & garlic bread. Very nice too.
  7. I`d forgotten how good Wispa`s tasted, I`ve had 2 this week, very nice..... but not helping the diet!
  8. Minty aero`s & twiglets. No not at the same time!! equally yummy in different ways.
  9. I find it depends on the book I`ve just finished, sometimes I need time to digest & absorb it. Other times I can finish one book and straight away start another.
  10. :17:Chimera, hope you enjoy it here.
  11. Dennis Wheatley........did say a long time ago!

I`ve heard of Dean Koontz, never read him though, would you reccomend him?

& I reckon as long as you enjoy reading that`s all that matters really. Take care.

  12. Thanks for the welcome, good to meet you. I`m from Brighton, born & bred here. As you can tell not very adventurous! Do you know Brighton?

  13. Hope you succeed in this, but more importantly, I think, hope you enjoy trying.
  14. Good luck with your challenge I`d find it a challenge just thinking of the appropriate books I think!
  15. I only saw the first two episodes, so waiting for repeats! Might read the book, I`m told it`s good.
  16. I know a few people with a shelf of books in the toilet as well, I don`t because I`ve got a loo the size of a matchbox!

  18. That`s what I thought! plus it would have been rude not to!
  19. Coconut mushrooms, mmmmmmmmm, and I do try to keep them hidden so I don`t have to share! I went to a restaurant in Brighton a couple of weeks ago, and at the end of the meal they gave us a plate of these, black jacks & fruit salads, to share. Luckily we still had a bit of room for them!
