  2. Hi HJordan Welcome to the board
  3. Hi Sara! Welcome to the forum!
  4. Nice one Ceinwenn!! Here's another ... One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of me. I was maybe 2 1/2 years old and had just recovered from an accident. Someone had given me a little tea set as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys. Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of tea, which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mum came home. My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was just the cutest thing! My Mum waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up. Then she says, (as only a mother would know) Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet?

  7. Hah so true! Its lovely to come on here and talk about reading and I missed it a lot, but I've got some lovely warm welcome backs from a good few people, including your good self!

Are you reading the classic reading challenge for May? Its the Hunchback of Notre Dame, I dare say you've probably read it though!

  8. Hey Bethany! :smile2: Thanks for thinking of me! I've never heard of Lisa Gardner, does she write stuff like Gerritsen? I'm reading a lot of vampire and werewolf stuff at the min and I'm trying to get my hands on a copy of The Hunchback of Notre Dame for the classic reading for May... a far cry from serial killer books! ... although theres lots of murder in them I suppose! How've you been? I hope you're keeping well

  9. I will indeed

  16. Is this the book that the film with Sigourney Weaver and Harry Connick Jr are in is based on? I did like the film but of course didn't put two and two together and realise this was the book! I might check this out I can strongly recommend The Blue Nowhere ~by~ Jeffrey Deaver, it was sent to me on the book buddy swap by Ceinwenn. I think you might like it, its a brilliant thriller without the fantasy element
  17. Yes I know! I missed my broadband! Sorry! I will update it asap! I have two books to write my thoughts on which I managed to squeeze in but so far I'm enjoying The Historian, its quite intriguing, not fast paced per say, but its keeping me interested!

  25. I totally agree with you Lexie about An Ice Cold Grave. I thought it was the best of the series so far, much darker too which I really liked.
