Hello blueberry pie, I'm a newbie too ! Have you tried two books by Ken Follett "Pillars Of The Earth" and "World Without End" they are both HUGE books (around 1000 pages !!) but I really enjoyed both. If you are a dog lover you could always try "Marley And Me" and "The Art Of Racing In The Rain"
