Hi Inver, Yeh I'm settling in just great. thanks for the welcome. :)

  2. Hi Michelle, Yep we were next to the florist. I think it will probably work better as a pound shop esp in the current credit crunch. I'm toying with the idea of opening a bookshop, selling new and second hand books.

  3. Ken Follett's Pillars Of The Earth and World Without End. Both absolute beast of books but I really enjoyed both of them. Another one is A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth, 1474 pages !! I haven't tackled it yet but plan to read it before xmas. All the reviews I've seen have been raving about it so hopefully it will be worth the arm ache.
  4. No problem, you can vent at me anytime, good to get it off your chest. Night- night, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite !! lol

  5. Yippee !! at last someone talking sense about Rotties. They are not "Devil Dogs" It's the bad owners that are the problem Thanks Wordsgood

Hi Charm, nice to be your 1st friend (at least I'm 1st at something !! :) ) My rottie (called Rosie) is a big daft 3 yr old now, and she generally insists on sleeping in the way. She has even earned herself the nickname Dozy Rosie coz she is so daft !! :)

  15. Thanks for asking me to be a friend :)

  16. No need to limit it to 4 people now, seeing as this thread has been quiet for some time I thought I would revive it but with new rules now you can have as many or as few guests as you want. It makes choosing a bit easier !!
  17. Hi Wordsgood, thanks for the friend request and the warm welcome. The puppy in my avi is Rosie she is now a large and lazy 3 yr old who has made sleeping an art form.

  22. Wow what a small world, I hardly ever find anyone who's even heard of Erith. I owned a shop in Nuxley Village last year "Bliss" selling candles incense gifts and stuff, sadly it failed so I'm stuck at home all day desperatly looking for a job !! :(

  23. Hi Michelle, Thanks for the invite, I will probably have to give this one a miss my daughter is 16 on Wednesday so I'm being dragged round the shops on Saturday !! I will try to convince her Bluewater is the place to go then maybe we can drop by a see you all. If not, you can count me in for the next one, sounds good. I've never had the opportunity to meet up with any cyber buddies before.

    Regards

    Bev

P.S I live at Erith (well the posh ones call it Northumberland Heath !! )
