  8. Thank you for the un-expected add. Wasn't expecting a friend request from the boss herself. :mrgeen:

  11. I'm 15, and although I wont make a habit of watching it again, it wasn't painstakingly bad. It wasn't brilliant at the same time. One of those meh kind of films.

I have to confess that I don't read a lot of horror. I enjoy when I do though, just leaves me looking over my shoulder.
  13. So sorry to hear that, I agree with Kell, it's pretty sad when a store closes.
  14. Ha, in no way shape or forum is Artemis Fowl a copy of Harry Potter. Artemis fowl is a boy-genius who has a plan to capture a fairy and get his hands on there gold. Harry potter as you know, is about a boy who is a wizard and gets to go to a school of witchcraft and wizardry to study magic. I don't see the difference?

It's because you don't have 10 posts. Once you have 10 posts on the forum, the options will open up to you. For one, you will be able to edit your posts, and I'm guessing it will be the same for the conversation invite. So it's not you being stupid it's just you need 10 posts! Hope that explains it. ~Ben.
  16. Aha what can I say. Looks like it's a simple cheese sandwich for me.
  17. Revolutionary Road. (2008) Out on the 30th January 2009 (UK). Synopsis. April and Frank Wheeler are a young, thriving couple living with their two children in a Connecticut suburb in the mid-1950s. Their self-assured exterior masks a creeping frustration at their inability to feel fulfilled in their relationships or careers. Frank is mired in a well-paying but boring office job, and April is a housewife still mourning the demise of her hoped-for acting career. Determined to identify themselves as superior to the mediocre sprawl of suburbanites who surround them, they decide to move to France where they will be better able to develop their true artistic sensibilities, free of the consumerist demands of capitalist America. As their relationship deteriorates into an endless cycle of squabbling, jealousy and recriminations, their trip and their dreams of self-fulfillment are thrown into jeopardy. This looks very good. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet!
  18. From what I've seen of it this year, it's been pretty poor.
  19. By all means try it, but mine and Kell's opinions are meaningless. It all comes down to different peoples opinions on different books. I'm sure many people will have preferred the Harry Potter series to the Artemis Fowl series, and vice-versa. I'd certainly try it though!
