  5. I have a pretty diverse collection of books. I have loads of History books as I love History and am keeping most of the ones I bought for my degree. I have quite a few classics and modern fiction. I also love non fiction and have lots of biographies and true stories. The only books I do not have many of are travel and art books which I am trying to expand my collection of.

  7. Little Man- Plain awful. Scum- Vile film , stopped watching half an hour into the film. Billy Elliott- Not keen at all.
  8. I am stunned that Rachel has won! Especially as there were so many big and well liked personalities in the house. Shame Mikey lost as at least he was obviously being himself, with Rachel that is debateable.

    Thanks, yours is really cute. I am okay, have started decorating the living and dining room so the house is upside down at the moment! How are you doing?

  11. I could well imagine that one being an extremely disturbing read. No particular book stands out for me apart from reading A Clockwork Orange years ago.
  12. I remember the cartoon animated couple in the life guard one. I remember the 'Charley says' one really well, that always gave me the creeps, still does!
  13. The Boy In the Striped Pyjamas moved me to tears.
  14. Normally 8.00pm onwards as I don't really get to read until my toddler is in bed.
  15. My husband is not a reader but has always been used to me being a big reader and does not mind at all.
  16. Thanks for the suggestions, I am definitely going to buy copies of Deborah Spungens and Motley Crues books.
  17. I have a copy of this book and it does have some good suggestions. I have only read 22 of the books recommended .
  18. I also wouldn't read Mills and Boon or Catherine Cookson.
  19. Can anybody recommend any books that they have found memorably funny? I was just thinking that I haven't read anything for a long time that has made me laugh out loud if that makes any sense!
  20. Just had fruit tonight as not feeling too hungry. Made the boys pizza and chips.
  21. Bleak House is extremely drawn out, it seemed to take me forever to get through.
  22. Anything by Maeve Binchy, Ben Elton or any of the Harry Potter books!
