I agree with you Kell. I always think "so that basically means your products are if they need lash inserts/hair extentions etc to make them look that good"!! What's worse is that they get away with it and people actually fall for it .

I remember studying The Wasp Factory at college and from what I can remember it wasn't too bad. I did buy it last year and will try and re-read it soon. The twist at the end was unexpected Correct me if I'm way off and confusing it with another book . I actually read the ending whilst I was halfway through the book - very impatient .

I love that poem too Chrissy, I'm not really into poetry but that has to be one of my favourites. She was the first poet we studied at uni and the only one that I liked . Another of hers I really like is Valentine: Not a red rose or a satin heart. I give you an onion. It is a moon wrapped in brown paper. It promises light like the careful undressing of love. Here. It will blind you with tears like a lover. It will make your reflection a wobbling photo of grief. I am trying to be truthful. Not a cute card or a kissogram. I give you an onion. Its fierce kiss will stay on your lips, possessive and faithful as we are, for as long as we are. Take it. Its platinum loops shrink to a wedding-ring, if you like. Lethal. Its scent will cling to your fingers, cling to your knife.

My favourite chick-lit authors are: Cecelia Ahern Sophie Kinsella I will read anything by both of them, even if it's not particularly that good I'm determined to finish it eventually. I've only read one book by Marian Keyes, Anybody Out There, which I enjoyed so I bought 3 more of her books which are waiting to be read. Also Debbie Macomber, I'm sure she can be classed as chick-lit right?

I hope so lol. Surely we are going to run out of Twilight material before October and now they keep us waiting.

I'm far too busy these days to read a book in one sitting , although I did read For One More Day - Mitch Albom in a sitting recently (I was obviously avoiding my dissertation completely at that point...).

You mean the one with the picture of Rob Pattinson with his shirt open ? I've only flicked through it and had a look at the picture's, not read too much of it yet although I will get round to it.
